National Museum of Singapore

National Museum of Singapore is full of history - from Singapoura, Crown Colony, Syonan-To to Singapore today. Very interesting and insight to be there.

Highly recommend place to visit! Spend almost 3hrs there and is very interesting!

A nice museum and great insisgts into Singapore. Would be great if there was more pre-colonial. I've lived in Singapore for 3 years and had not been yet. Definitely learnt alot.

Take advantage of the doraemon exhibition, while get to learn more about the history of Singapore. Nicely mapped out museum, good for all ages, not just do tourist, get to know the place that you’re at!

A nice way to spend a few hours or of the heat! There was no queue to get in, and quite empty inside due to the virus. Very informative, and we enjoyed the special exhibit on the lower level, it was well done.

I thought that spending my time in a museum will be boring, but it was an unforgettable experience for me! while this is my second time to Singapore, my experiences in Singapore's museum were always amazing. first time was science center museum, and this time was national museum!

Great way to get an overview of Singapore’s history! Could have been a lot better if there’s a fleshed out history of how Indians came into the country.

Great museum. Well maintained. Lot of interactive exhibits. Anyone interested in the history and the evolution of culture of Singapore would thoroughly enjoy the experience.

The national museum of Singapore is amazingly good! We have learnt a lot from this place. Our most favorite spot is a dark room with soothing light and relaxing music (as shown in the pictures). We spent almost an hour in this exhibition. Don't miss anything here and don't forget to book by Klook application!

I loved exploring this museum! There is so much to learn! I actually walked in right in time for a free English guided tour, which was great because the tour guide took us through the history gallery and explained all the significance of the displays! After the tour you can go back and dive deeper if you'd like. But make sure to save enough time for the other galleries! :)

A museum where kids would not get bored. I went twice and second one was with my parents from Indonesia. They even liked it as many common culture and history explained.

It was actually one of the best museum i have been to. to be honest I did not have such high expectation given that Singapore is a pretty young country, however I was quite pleasantly surprised. Also team lab did a section on singapores native flora and fauna which was amazing. I spent a good 3 hours here and learnt alot about this amzing country.

It was my first time entering the museum, bringing along my friends from Taiwan to learn about the history of Singapore. Very educational and relaxing trip we had for a half day trip!

Really informative. Three floors. First one is Singapore’s history - very interesting and interactive exhibits. Location is great if you feel like strolling to a park or have lunch. I spent like 3 hours there.

Wonderful place to know , How Singapore evolved to become a beautiful and modern country. Ravaged after ww2 , it was interesting to see how determined ppl of the country held together and came back much strongly as ever before.

Just show the QR code at the entrance! It is very easy. The exhibits were also good. There is no Japanese pamphlet so I recommend a Japanese guide.

one of best national museum I have ever been. it was clean, learnt a lot of history about how Chinese people settled this country.

I always visit the National Museum whenever I'm in Singapore. Lots of pieces from renowned Filipino artists... plus the building itself is marvelous! Be sure to join one of the free guided tours.

So educational. It's not only my nephew who enjoyed every minute of our stay in the Museum. It's good that once in awhile, we will be reminded of the history of each nation because we got to learn from their experiences. I am very impressed of how the present generation value their past by preserving and showcasing this through this valuable museum.

I was supposed to get tickets to the permanent exhibit but I mistakenly only got the Special Exhibit access, An Old New World, instead. Still, it was fascinating learning the story of how Singapore came to be

This museum is by far the nicest national museum I've been to. It is very interactive and self-paced. Full of rich information about culture and history of Singapore.

My friends were very thankful that I booked us a tour in the National Museum Singapore. The museum is beautiful outside and a lot of things to learn inside. Unlike other museums that I've been to, NMS is quite modern and techy. The Glass Rotunda is ❤️

One of the best museums I've been to! Well-curated exhibits and interactive pieces make for a wonderful walk through Singapore's history as a former colony, to the developed urban jungle it is today. The all-access pass is worth every cent. Definitely a must-visit when in Singapore.
