This is the first time staying at the Gold Coast Hotel, the scenery is super beautiful! ! I like the hotel’s large terrace the most. It’s a holiday feel. Afternoon tea is better than I expected. I will definitely come again next time.

Free upgrade to a room with balcony。The staff is really nice

The first time I stayed at the Gold Coast Hotel, the room was so big (but the toilet was found to have hair, the cleaning staff need to pay attention), but the hotel environment is really good, with nice gardens and nice sea views. We also upgraded the rooms with terraces, and opened the windows in cool weather, and there was natural wind blowing into the room, so comfortable! The package we bought included $500 for food and beverage consumption. We originally wanted to use the room service to enjoy the sea view and eat in the room, but the front desk colleague said that the coupon can only be used in the restaurant, which is a pity. In the end, we chose to eat brunch in Chinese cuisine (Cantonese) in the second dynasty. This choice was correct. The environment and the food were good, and this ended our house holiday.

Hotel staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The lanscape inside the hotel premisses is well designed and the upkeeping is commandable. The package arranged by Klook is really good value for money. I would recommend to friends.

We’re lucky that the hotel has upgraded us to Premier Sea View room which it was look amazing and worth for the price. The staff were very friendly, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant. The room itself so spacious, provides bathtub, huge wardrobe, nice comfy bed. My room balcony is wide and terrific view of ocean. I was really impressed of this resort and will definitely going back again.

This is the second time I have stayed. This time I tried the terrace room. The view is open and the hotel is very holiday-like. You can see the sunrise and sunset. The staff is very polite, the breakfast is good, will definitely stay again.

The staycation in Gold Coast we booked through Klook is a money worth experience. We’ve booked the package including dim sum lunch and breakfast. Though the dim sum is a bit disappointed as the quantity is a bit less, the goose noodles is good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Both the check in and check out process is smooth and quick. It’s just that the room is a bit small but considering the cost, it’s fine.

Today I just finished a two-day and one-night staycation. This package includes a delicious green tea dessert afternoon tea and a rich buffet breakfast. And the happiest thing is that this package upgrades the hotel room to a sea-view terrace room for free. Although the hotel is already an old hotel, it is well maintained and the environment is hygienic. The afternoon tea and breakfast food he packaged tastes good. . Due to the beauty of Tiangong, you can also enjoy the beautiful sunset view from the terrace of the room. The overall experience is very good. I had a low expectations due to few reviews mentioning the hotel was outdated. However, when I got there, it blew my mind. First they had a huge classic lobby with a Chinese style structure in the middle. We got the deluxe room with balcony and the room was spacious, clean, and wasn't too old. We had a buffet dinner at Cafe Lagoon and it was great. Definitely will stay there again. PS: Get the package including dinner and breakfast. We just had the dining credit package and end up spending more than the one including dinner and breakfast package

Good hotel environment and polite staff

It's a great package with all meals included. So, not much planning is required, and it is very good value in general. Dinner was especially nice, and the arrangement by the sales (Angela) was very helpful. Everything was ready when we checked in.

We got a seaview room without balcony, a bit disappointed but still satisfied. I must say the package with $500 dining credit is worth and flexible for those who have limited budget.

I have great experience of staycation here... we got free upgrade to seaview room on work day. The hotel is placed nearby the mountain and Tai Lam Chung reservoir, it’s nice to go hiking as well. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant (not bad), which has already included in whole package!

Fast check in / out and the room is up to my expectation

Room is renovated but still look old fashioned esp the washroom. Though staff is not very professional, they are nice. Otherwise the environment was nice and breakfast was good. It's overall a good deal of money.

The deal was lovely! $500 dining credit paid for a full buffet breakfast for 2. The hotel room with a sea view and balcony was 4/5 stars! Lovely and clean, big room, big bathtub, comfortable king bed. Overall it was a nice deal. Food was less than great, and the hotel seemed a bit dated. Due to COVID everything was closed but that’s not the hotels fault. Great deal and a great staycation! ??

My booking for 2 rooms on 1/1/2021 to 2/1/2021 at the Gold Coast Hotel for the New Year family celebration was being cancelled at the front desk when we arrived to check in; due to the hotel's latest covid protocol of which regarding customers' residential buildings that have covid case from the last 21 days. I respect the strict regulation in response to the recent covid development. However, we are extremely disappointed as the hotel could have informed us regarding such via email / sms / phone at least one day prior to check-in date. And in fact, we did receive a phone call from you but to an extent only to confirm the check-in date. My question is - why wouldn't the staff, taking care of calling us to confirm check-in, have asked us about if our building has any covid cases in the last 21 days / or simply have asked for our address in order to avoid disappointment. The only thing they have done for us is to arrange a free cancellation by email to klook at the front desk. Yet, it has absolutely spoiled our celebration on the New Year day.

All outdoor activities been stopped as T3 hoisted . But we were only notified last minute which was frustrating as we went there for activities .

Sorry, I do expect for a fine services even I paid hkd1188, what my family takes finally:- 1. a dirty room (i.e a room seems just checkout by some others and not yet clean up, you can see dirty towels, cups and bed sheets everywhere. Yes, a lady told me that’s their mistake of housekeeping and do her favour to little upgrade of my room to a little bigger room which looks it was vacant for more than 1000years) when check-in; 2. no complimentary bottle waters (for safe our earth, you need to use their glass bottle to get free water from the lift lobby or buy water at your own); 3. no staff willing to answer your questions as they all wear unhappy face; and 4. not bad swimming experience (even their white towels have lots of yellow spots. Trusted me, those towels should be clean, such yellow spots just want to let you know those towels are old enough) Apologies that I forgot to take photos in the dirty room. When I first dirty room door, I was mad enough and immediately went down to log a complaint.

1. We had a great time in this staycation package in Gold Coast Hotel during the public holiday. 2. The room and relevant facilities are tidy and clean. 3. The front desk staff and services are also satisfying. 4. We also enjoyed the food in the restaurant. Although many customers under the current Covid-19, the food quality and services maintained its original standard. 5. Our family and kids also joined the entertainment activities provided by the hotel. Well, I have to say that although the staff were all very friendly, they obviously need further trainings in order to improve their service. (Are they part-time and young students?)

Fair Deal. Breakfast included and ok. Beach was closed during our stay but the swimming pool was good.
