Explore one of the most original museums in the world while traveling in Penang — the fascinating Wonderfood Museum featuring giant displays of traditional Malaysian dishes. Located inside Georgetown’s 1940s colonial building, the museum invites you into the world of super realistic models of popular dishes handcrafted by the museum’s owner using food replication techniques from Japan. There are three galleries in the museum for your to discover: Info Zone, Wow Zone, and Educational Zone where you can learn interesting facts about Malaysian cuisine, cooking methods and see international delicacies from Indian, Chinese and other cuisines.

highly recommended to go with ur love one! the staffs also friendly,they offer to take ur photos but pls go there during weekdays or weekend in the morning because hard to find parking & have to wait to take photos because crowded people.

It was an amazing experience to see all those foods replica. They looked so tempting and made you craving right away. But, it was hard for us to find parking since the museum located along the shops. But you can park your car at victoria inn hotel because they have public parking.

Recommended place when in Penang. I enjoyed spent time with my family. All the staff and Photographers are always ready to helps to take our pictures. Booking thru klook is so much easier and most importantly we got the ticket with cheaper price!

For me, this is a enjoyable experience as I get to learn what's the food will looks like after it has been put for long time and understand that there is lifespan for each food :). For tourist, this will be a great opportunity to know what is the famous food in Penang, and where to get them( there is famous shop/ stall below each of the food's description). Lastly, we get to know the number of sugar in each of food as well, time to remind everyone to reduce the sugar intake!

Interesting experience learning about the various foods in Penang and a delightful visual experience playing around with all the upsized foods available! Plenty of props available to take pictures with- and the staff are also very friendly helpful! Would recommend a trip there if it’s your first time in Penang :-)

The museum is very interesting and showcases many aspects of food. The only frustrating thing is that there is a staff keep trying to take group photos of you and he doesn't let us go until we act for the photos.

Initially I thought that I was able to finish touring the whole museum in 15mins, so Ive read comments that this is a small museum.
Wow.. Not true. I spent almost 45mins here, taking photos with all the exhibits. Worth coming!!!

The replica foods looks so real. Lots of great traditional foods displayed such as Nasi lemak, rendang, roti canai, mee, teh tarik, cendol. The environment also so wonderful with colored pictures and explanation. The scattered shark and bloods also looks so real. Miniatures also displayed how Malaysian people eats on typical days. Worth your money by buying on klooks, just show the QR Code and you can enter the museum. Love it!
