Taipei The Gaia Hotel Individual Hot Spring Room Experience

This is the second time I've done this and both times have been exceptionally good. Facilities are clean, staff are helpful and the afternoon tea set is a perfect way to end off everything. Word of warning the last afternoon tea is served at 16:30, so if you want your full 4 hours in the hot spring make sure you plan your time accordingly. The hotel are also able to arrange pick up and drop off at Beitou or Xinbeitou you need just ask them.

I went to the public bath and added afternoon tea. was a superb day and although my QR code hadn't arrived yet by the time I went to the hot springs the staff there saw the booking was on the system and still let me in, just had to be sure to show them the QR code when I left. The staff are very helpful and professional. The afternoon tea was also very enjoyable. As a tip if you take the afternoon tea you have a choice of drink, I would suggest you take the hot tea as opposed to coffee as they are able to refill for free whereas I believe the others are only a single cup.

We did the private bath option and it was very relaxing. The room was very clean and the service was great. The view from the room was also nice. However, I think it was a bit overpriced since it didn't include a meal so next time we would probably just do the public bath. But if you prefer more privacy then I would definitely recommend it!

Cheaper than booking through the resort and was a nice place to relax after an entire day of walking. The amenities were well thought out and service was good!

The Gaia Hotel Private Hot Spring experience was fantastic! The hot spring rooms were spectacular and the service was very professional and very accommodating. The free shuttle service was very useful in getting back and forth from the hotel to either Xinbeitou or Beitou MRT Stations. One thing they could have made more clear was the afternoon tea. Your choices are actually: Afternoon Tea set, Sandwiches, or Beef Noodles.

The hotel is 5 star and the private bathhouse is fantastic! 90 mins was more than enough time for 2 of us. The afternoon tea set is delicious too! We took our time to enjoy the pastries and the environment.

✓the hot tub take time to fill but the room is clean and has everything you need. ✓staffs and driver are friendly. ✓beef noodles are superb, meat is so soft, its soup is tasty and you'll get full of their noodles. overall it was worth trying experience even though its only 90 mins( but we got a little over 90 mins actually).

Friendly service, free parking on premises. There are free water and snacks on the private baths. The springs is nice and hot very spacious. Free coffee and tea at the resting area outside the rooms. At the lobby there is a large library area for some photo opportunity.

It was a great experience for me and my wife. The private bathroom was clean and spacious. We were rejuvenated and refreshed after the onsen, all our tiredness for the past few days were gone. We went there by the free hotel shuttle bus (which required reservation)

It was fantastic! We managed to find the free shuttle van immediately as we arrived at the station and caught it just before it departed to the hotel. We arrived early so we had drinks at the restaurant and all staff in the hotel are very friendly, accomodating and helpful. The both of us enjoyed the private bath thoroughly which included a shower and toilet in the room, as well as free toiletries, snacks and water. We had the (big bowl!) of beef noodles afterwards and it was super delicious - the beef was so tender and the soup was tasty! We took the free shuttle back to the station after and we had a wonderful time! I would highly recommend it and I'll definitely be going back in the near future!

The private room was neat. The shower was a bit complicated to operate because water comes out from about 6 directions! Once you get it working, it was like a nice massage. The actual hot spring comes with hot and cold knobs you can adjust, and the bath fills up quite quickly. I recommend adding some cold water as hot only is a bit unbearable. There's a nice water scoop for you to use. Bottled water and snacks were also included. Afterwards we were led to the restaurant for afternoon tea, where you can choose between club sandwiches, beef noodle soup, or a high tea set, which was what we had. The food was visually appealing. Taste-wise they weren't too shabby either. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon, especially if you have a partner. Make sure to take some photos at the library near the lobby, it's quite grand!

Gaia Hotel private hot spring bath was a nice experience. My husband and I had a relaxing time after walking around the area and checking out the hot spring museum. Definitely recommend reserving if you have time to go to Beitou.

easy to find the shuttle bus to go to the hotel. the bath was amazing and 90 minutes was a perfect timing.

A nice experience to have hot bath/spring in a private and contained area all by yourself. Will be ideal for those who are not used to have it with other people. It ended really well with a nice English high tea. Both my husband and me enjoyed ourselves. We will visit again in our next trip to Taipei.

Lovely lovely lovely! Private toom was clean and came with attached bath, toilet. Snacks , coffee free. Loved the experience. Staff was efficient and pleasant if not exactly warm.

Big & spaceous private bathroom. The hotel staff was nice enough to give us our full 90mins even enough we arrived late (as they don't have reservation right after us). Refreshments shown in the pic were given + capsule machine & tea bags. A very great experience! The smell wasn't as pungent as the Thermal Valley which I walked up afterwards.

It was a Christmas gift for my parents-in-law. And they loved it! My mother-in-law mentioned her skin felt nicer and brighter after soaking in the hot spring. The club sandwiches came in bigger portions than expected, which was good anyway. Overall, it’s a very satisfying experience.

Service is definitely 5 stars. You have everything you need in the private room. The beef noodle was also yummy!

Once in a lifetime experience! Would really recommend others to try this experience. The bath itself was very zen and comforting, made me feel really sleepy right after! The food was delicious and in big portion. Really worth it in my opinion.

The hotel provide shuttle bus which is very good and cost saving for tourists. Booked at 5pm but was caught up in the traffic and was late. The hotel and staff was nice to push our booking back. Thumbs up.

Good experience overall, helpful staff, good atmosphere. First time visiting hot spring, room without window feels slightly suffocating. Dessert set had great decoration, but could taste better.

Reservation for Free Shuttle is preferred. Called the hotel and realised that the shuttle service picks up on Beitou MRT station at 7.55pm while my booking was at 8pm. Hotel offered to push back my booking 10 minutes later to cater for the shuttle bus journey. It was awesome! Shuttle bus is easy to spot on the RIGHT of the MRT exit at a pickup point where there are a few bus stop stands and one that labels GAIA HOTEL. Shuttle was on time. Arrival at the hotel was smooth. Registeration at the counter was swift and we were led to our private room. Entire experience was fabulous.

The experience is amazing! we waited for the shuttle infront of the Beitou station with the signboard ourside facing the traffic light. the shuttle was punctual. the hot bath place is awesome too! so much of privacy and everything like water, snacks, towel, hair dryer, comb is provided! just need to bring your self and enjoy! recommended got 90mins because by the time you filled the water and washed up 60mins is definitely not enough. the meals provided like beef noodle is of very good quality too. we enjoyed so much and feels premium as the other ones are so crowded. this is of less crowd.

We are late for the appointment but they will able to manage room to us. Quite a good experience with it.

100 stars if I can give. Very friendly and professional service. The place is super clean and quiet. I walked from Xinbeitou station which is around 650m. Very close but be careful of the steep stairs and roads. The private bath is super clean, spacious and has very that you need. You will have exact 90 mins starting when you get in the room. It was my best experience in Taiwan. Very relaxing. The library hall is very beautiful. The restaurant is nice. Even though it took quite long time to prepare food, the beef noodle is huge and delicious. I will definitely come back here if I go back to Taipei. Worth every penny.

Very clean room and have free refreshment while using the bath. Please book a reservation for shuttle bus, so that the hotel can dispatch another bus if there is too many people coming. When exit the beitou station, turn to your right side to wait for the shuttle bus.

The shuttle bus is very easy to spot. Checking in for our schedule is also easy. It is recommended to be on tine because there is alot of people during holiday season. I love the amenities, and the afternoon tea sandwich noodles we had afterwards.

Place was abit inconvenient to walk to but they have shuttle bus. Spa area was spacious and clean but there’s no clock or television. They provide toiletries and some snacks which was a nice touch. Overall very pleasant experience with a somewhat nice view.

The place is not hard to find and staffs is very friendly. The hot spring room is clean and well stock with amenities.

Experience was good. But the staff did not seem to be aware of our Klook package and did not guide us properly on what to do. Wish we could have gone to the bigger public hot springs pool in the hotel too, but it was not part of the package. Other than that the hotel was beautiful...

Despite the allegedly cancelled booking, I have finally communicated with Klook and got the bathhouse successfully. The bathhouse is quite good, except they could have provided their customers with face cleanser and lotion. The tea was very good and of decent quality. In general, I am pleased with my booking.

Good shuttle service, friendly staff. The hotel provided 2 bottles of water, some snacks like almonds and chip. There is a coffee/tea stand in the public area, but we did not used it. The bathhouse was not what I had in mind. It looks different than the picture. There was no window, it was dark.

Hotel is rather easy to find, using Google Maps. We are ushered to our room by friendly staff, who explained the amenities in the lounge area and the room. The hot spring tub is sufficient for 2 adults. You can adjust the temperature of the water by mixing cold water and hot spring water. We do hope that there are bathrobes provided so that we could chill out at the lounge area, in between. After our session, the staff led us to the restaurant where we had our pre-ordered beef noodles. The food was good!

Very good and relaxed, nice environments and delicious food

Incredible place with proximity to city centre compared to other hotspring sites. We took uber from Taipei city (ZhongShan district) to here and it costed around NT370, journey lasted for 30 minutes. Hotspring is nice, recommending you to go for the tea as well as always good to relax, have a drink and chill after hotspring. But to set your expectations, food looks better on photo than it tastes.

we walked from beitou station which was a mistake. pls walk from xinbeitou if you wish to walk. be warned that it includes some steep hilly roads. only on arrival did we find out they have a shuttle bus. I have included the schedule in my photo. the bathhouse experience was great. they called this private experience 湯屋. the room included all that you need to freshen up after bathing. they had towels and toiletries and free coffee, tea, and apples. I opted for the meal option and originally selected beef noodle soup (head straight to the restaurant up a small flight of stairs once you exit the bathhouse zone). however, at the restaurant, we were informed we had no choice in the food - a high tea set was served as seen in the photo. we could still pick a beverage of choice. we didn't really mind because it wasn't a particularly cool day and we were still feeling warm from the hot spring bath. overall, would recommend for an easy private hot spring bathing experience.

Room is clean. Place is conducive and personal. Great place to chill out. Recommended!
