The Murray, Hong Kong Staycation Package

The Murray is quite good. Services and dining are probably perfect . However, the hotel has technical problem : power failure during 1am and 3am.

Everything was great! With friendly and helpful staffs. However, I personally wouldn’t recommended it with 3 course dinner as the dessert was a disaster. There are much more choices in central for dinner if you are going for a celebration.

The staycation at Murray hotel is so far the best staycation I have tried. The service and the overall ambience is excellent, food is good (in particular the breakfast). Thank you Ms Kitty Leung, the Guest Relations Supervisor, and other staff of the hotel who have helped us to resolve an issue promptly. Will surely return for another stay.

The room itself is as good as it was when I made my stay 9 months ago. For breakfast, only 2 main dishes per person (+ buffet) can be chosen, which is downgraded from the unlimited main-dish serving in the past. However, high-tea at the Garden Lounge tasted much better than Popinjays! Definitely recommended.

Beautiful view with nice meal

A very comfortable place to stay overnight. This package was worth at all which included 2-course lunch, 3-course dinner and semi buffet breakfast (the food was delicious). And the room was cozy and big enough for us. Highly recommended!!

The hotel butler service is attentive, the rooms are clean, the staff are courteous, the restaurant food is delicious, will come again.

Good breakfast, surprise

The breakfast at the hotel is excellent, and the food choices are many and the environment is peaceful. I met Dean, the hotel manager when I took a lift to the room after eating, and asked me about my idea of staying in. After learning that I was celebrating the wedding, I was even more surprised ?thank you☺️

Service is very good

After staying in the explorer suite for two nights, I have already felt that the front desk staff is very polite and professional since the check in. The room is very large, and the maintenance and hardware are good. The afternoon tea is Tai Pan food, but the taste is not good, especially the English muffins, and the styles are random? Because everyone in the housing estate sits on the isolation platform like me. Regardless of how good it is overall, I will stay again next time.

The stay was super nice with its nice room. The services provided were superb especially for my birthday. Highly recommended.

Pleasant night. The room is sweet with a view of HSBC, we entertained ourselves with the movies provided in the TV. Lovely afternoon tea, and there's a huge variety of high quality food to choose from.

Quite a nice stay overall. Staff is very pleasant and polite. The included amenities were great, even have bubble bath! The package was such a good deal with breakfast, tea and a free massage. The room was nice and spacious, we paid for an upgrade to N2 room which was well worth it with a big bathtub. The massage was ok considering it was the first day the wellness center reopened due to covid. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice staycation in Hong Kong.

This trip was very satisfying and at home.

There are many kinds of breakfast food, especially the fruits are very fresh. The dinner food tastes very good, and the food is thoughtful and can be delicious.

Although the weather wasn’t good, the experience of staying at the Murray could make it all up. This stay was the best thing for my furry kids and for my parents. The service was excellent. Food was spectacular. If we could have more time and money, we would have stayed for few more nights :p

Birthday relaxation/work trip

Stay in N2 room type. Note that there should only be a bathtub with N2 or above. I am obsessed with the bathroom, and I am very satisfied with the design space and bathtub of the bathroom. I like the big glass windows to look at Mid-Levels and Hong Kong Park, and I feel comfortable. There is enough space for our two girls to play yoga ?‍♀️, there is even a yoga mat in the room. The hotel also offers cakes in response to guests’ birthdays, and the sparkling wine included in the package is delicious. The staff is very good and caring ?? Big push

Very satisfied

The decoration of the hotel is new and fresh, unlike the design of ordinary hotel rooms. The bed and pillows suit me well. The breakfast is super positive, semi-buffet, and a lot of food. The afternoon tea environment is good, and the savoury is better than the dessert.

Staff was very friendly and proactively upgraded our room for birthday celebration. Food (in-room dining and breakfast) was great and room was spacious. Would recommend this hotel and the staycation package.

Awesome! Many unexpected services from the hotel were experienced :) like free drinks and complimentary cake for I and my fiancée ‘s anniversary! Different kinds of Pillows were provided for us to choose! Food are awesome with reasonable price! Good quality of food and nice garden just outside of the restaurant ! Highly recommended for young couples !

Excellent services and food! Hotel staff didn't realise my previous email to them for better preparation was accidentally sent to their junk mail but they could manage to satisfy all my requests immediately upon check-in. I paid extra $800 for an upgrade to Signature Suite when I checked in thanks to a staffer's recommendation: room size got doubled, with a very nice long tub and super spacious shower room, and two moisturizing masks on bedside tables were beyond expectation. I asked for late check out twice and ice buckets filled with ice twice, all requests were met. We got good recommendation from staff when indecisive on tea options: the regular signature option never failed whereas the vegan crossover option was a spark. Dinner was served with heating cart, with extremely good ingredients though the steak requested to be served medium turned out to be medium done due to the cart. Semi-buffet breakfast was again a surprise. Main course choices abound. Kudos on Egg Florentine and French Toast that we selected. Very good quality of semi-buffet items as well.

Great package with meals included!

A very nice hotel, out of expectation. The design had paid attention to the fine details - a combination of white, black and gold, Plus - the magic glass of the bathroom which was opaque initially and become transparent after pressing a button. Turn down service (夜床服務）include setting up a star projection machine so that made us feel sleeping in the space. Wonderful break in busy life.

The most worthy hotel stay ever. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room and view are stunningly amazing. Breakfast is amazing! But the afternoon tea and dinner are disappointing. Yet, it’s Hong Kong, you can just go out and get the best wanton noodle in walking distance.

Really impressed with the service from check in to the swimming pool to house keeping/room service to concierge. Hands down best service in town. Really like the rooms too, very modern and chic. Absolutely in love with the marbled bathroom and the bath tub. I think one of the highlights for me was the amount of amenities offered.

Great stay cay package at unique hotel and friendly staff . Recommend upgrading your room during check in. Delicious well proportioned three course in room meal with proper prosecco.

Overall experience was really lovely. The staff were all very kind, especially the turndown service and housekeeping staff. Breakfast exceeded my expectations but the tea set was a bit average. Dinner was pretty yummy. Ambience in restaurants were all very nice.

Impressed by the unique design in the hotel, which was renovated from a Government building and now turned into a renowned photo spot. The package includes afternoon tea and breakfast, definitely a good deal.

The experience was great. Got upgraded to the signature suite from the explorer suite :) The check in was smooth and we managed to extend our check out time. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious, clean and nice, and has a wide selection of movies to watch ? Our package includes a 3 course dinner which tasted mediocre. However, the desserts were very nice and worth the money! Lastly, the breakfast was good, would give it an 8/10. A wide selection of teas and coffee were available and the food from the offered menu was amazing! Especially the french toast and omelette ?

This is a well designed hotel both interior & exterior. Guest service is extremely excellent, from front desk staff to housekeeping team. The minor downside is not being linked with close by shopping areas & doesn’t have many interesting points in the neighbourhood

Excellent service and very nice hotel room as well! Pet friendly with cat litter and water has been provided. Overall very good experience I would love to stay in the hotel going forward!

Generally speaking the hotel is nice. The only thing needs improvement is the compliance of non smoking policy. There was twice during my stay that the next door of my room was smoking. The strong smell was like the smoke injecting directly into my room.

It was perfect, when I walk in the hotel i feel like I back home. Even thought it was my first time visit. Staff are really friendly and nice. People always love to help with the smiling face. The room are clean and modern. E food was good specially the breakfast , have so many choice. Love it. definitely would visit next time.

Contemporary design hotel, staff are very attentive, didn’t recognise most of N1 deluxe room without bathtub, I’m ok with this but seems not match with room description. Have Breakfast at cozy restaurant my seats were facing a garden, food is so delicious with great assortment, afternoon tea at Popinjays, almost all table were seated but still keep a good atmosphere, very nice experience

15 mins earlier at the lobby for check-in, it was smooth. Spectacular view from the room with a neat and bright design, delightful. Everything seems quite perfect to me and don't forget to visit the roof top bar before you go. Definitely worth it.

Lovely staycation with very comfortable rooms to celebrate the anniversary of my boyfriend and I. We were sent a complimentary cake and bottle of prosecco to celebrate the occasion. We also took our dog with us and I was amazed how dog friendly the hotel is. She was definitely made very welcome by the staff! The breakfast selection was good with many Asian and western choices. We loved the extra touch of the pillow menu, which made our stay even more relaxing. Location is also great to get to various places around HK island.
