Note: Travel was last November 2018 One of the highlights in discovering KL. Definitely a must try! Tour guide was very knowledgeable. I can't forget her Malaysian accent. She uses a flag so that we won't be lost from the pack of tourists. I suggest travelers to budget their time in Resorts World, in the Temple and in the Premium Outlet. Do not miss visiting the Temple. I can’t forget the never ending escalator. I hope management has already fixed the issue of unreadable bar code pass which causes long cue in the cable car. GENTING HIGHLANDS It was a long bus travel from KL proper to Genting Highlands, probably 2 hours. The bus was very comfortable. I enjoyed riding the cable car especially that the floor is made of see-through glass. You will pass by temples and hotels which you can drop off for a while. It was hard to find a restaurant to have lunch in Resorts World. But I enjoyed looking at the high-tech ceiling and billboards inside the hotel. Forget it if you plan to play casino. Day tour is not enough in discovering the whole area due to the limited time. Consider booking a separate travel if you really want play casino. BATU CAVES Can’t forget the gigantic statute, the colorful stairs, the temple, the doves and the monkeys. I also tried the food but I was just not used to the taste.

Was able to visit Genting Highlands and Batu Caves bec of this tour. Batu Caves is a very popular place in Malaysia. It was a nice experience to go there and we were able to see monkeys! Genting Highlands has also a great view and nice restaurants.

Juliene Martha · 24/03/2021

Activity is very planned Though we book during cny, most of the scheduled trip were covered. Will book again with klook

Oliver · 22/02/2021

Amazing tour guide indeed! The tour was smooth and we were well guided. I wish klook could just provide water and everything will be perfect.

Jhoanna Marie · 08/06/2020

definitely a highlight to visit the Batu Caves! the temple and the hole of the cave is amazing! so many funny monkeys making their way up to the temple and kidding you. Great driver Chandran was helpful and nice to talk to. However, the Genting Highlights are only suitable for Chinese visitors who look for entertainment, lights and shopping malls. less for the European taste. the Chinese temple and buddha statue in the way up were nice yet.

It was a brilliant trip and our guide was brilliant , The only fault was the picking up, they wouldn’t pick us up at hotel and made arrangement to pick us up somewhere else but no one knew where it was so a lovely cab driver had to ring the company to arrange a place for us, very confusing , brilliant trip when we was picked up , would use your company again

We are only 12 on this tour but they provide us a bus that can occupy 40+ people. Cable car is enjoyable and will bring you on the top. You can stop at the temple before heading to the top. At the top you can shop, eat and enter the theme park. You will ride again the cable car going down. There is a mall with premium outlets of the popular brands that you can chose from. More or less you have a total of 4 hours to tour around the area. You just need to plan your time when you're at the top, to eat lunch and to shop. Tour guide is strict on time since you will still be heading to Batu Caves. In Batu Caves, they gave us 1 hour to shop, eat and climb into the cave. There are 252 steps up then another 252 steps going down if I'm not mistaken. This tour is kinda tiring but it is worth the money you paid since you will be touring around Genting Higlands and Batu Caves plus a shop (forgot the name) that you can buy goods from Malaysia.

Great day out. Our guide Stephen was great. Super informative, very funny and even went out of his way to drop us back by our hotel even though it wasn’t in the drop off/ pick up zone! Would definitely recommend this trip.

Megan · 09/03/2020

Very good tour, with a very friendly guide and good English.

Daniel · 06/03/2020

It was one of the best days i lived in Malaysia. Two reasons , Chin Swee temple and batu caves are a must visit. And if you can have MAC as your tour guide , the whole trip becomes pretty easy to understand with Malaysian History and its rise from the 1900s time. Mac , you were friendly and funny and made the trip entertaining. I really liked your spirit for the journey.

Pranav · 04/03/2020

Nice location, a must visit place near Kuala Lumpur.

FNU · 02/03/2020

Very great and informative tour. There were a lot of time to spend and the guide was very patient. Was kind enough to drop us off near petronas tower afterwards ?

KEIRSTINE · 01/03/2020

We were with the Ivy tours in KL (from Klook) and our guide was Stephen. He was greT with heaps of info about the places we went to. The tour was very organised and gave us ample time to see everything. I recommend this tour ??????

Jian Giselle Valerie · 28/02/2020

Excellent service .guide was excellent and amazing views

Sylvie · 27/02/2020

The activity was good and so fun! The tour guide Mr. MC was soooo communicative and bring so much joy on the trip. The schedule is on time. Such a great experience!

citra putri · 27/02/2020

Excellent tour... Kudos to our guide Mr. Singh who was exceptionally descriptive and humorous. Genting highland was surely a great and memorable trip, as also batu caves visit... particularly for Indians.

Rajesh · 26/02/2020

This trip is a great option to see the Batu Caves for sightseeing and Genting Highlands for shopping that can accommodate all ages. Our tour guides were agile in proposing a shift in the itinerary in order to avoid high traffic/congested routes to maximize our time at the tour stops.

Christine · 23/02/2020

The guide was super good

Tord · 22/02/2020

This is one of my favorite purchase in Klook for our KL travel. The bus arrived on time for pick up. Itvwas very comfortable. The tour guide Lucas was also very pleasant and knowledgeable. We were given ample time to roam around Genting. We really enjoyed the cable car experience even though it was raining and foggy the whole time. Purchasing the ticket thru Klook was way cheaper than purchasing it on site. We were also very lucky to ride the glass cable car. ? The Batu cave experience was very special as you get to be a part of someone else's religion. Proper clothing is required. You can get coverups for RM5 in case, they'll refund you of RM2 upon return of the coverup.

Cynthia · 22/02/2020

A great trip with a wonderful guide and driver ( Nadia and Peter). Both were friendly, professional and punctual. The caves were amazing and well worth the 272 step climb to see inside. The trip to the Heights would have been better if it hadn't rained all day. The heights are on several levels and it would have been useful to have a map of the layout. Nadia however did a wonderful explanation of were everything was. All in all a great day out! Thank you!

Thomas · 20/02/2020

It was very enjoyable. The Batu caves temple is pretty.

Priyanshi · 18/02/2020

Great Trip..... full day out, interesting and fun!!!

Melissa · 18/02/2020

Our first destination was at the Genting Highlands, do bring a jacket as it tends to be cold when you visit the place. They have an indoor amusement center and was told the the Theme Park will be open by June 2020. We stayed for 5 hours which is too long especially for someone like me who ended up alone in this tour(I guess it’s different for other guest) Taking photos at the temple and climbing the 9 level shrine is a great practice before you head to Batu caves. Once your at the top level of the shrine, marvel at the serenity, you will see the vast nature that will calm your troubled soul and for a while you might forget your issues. This is a perfect place to contemplate ?. Then be a child and ride their Awana cable car, i was like a kid with cotton candy and had fun riding the cable car, i wanted to ride again but was afraid to be left by the bus. 2nd destination was Batu caves, the 272 steps was a challenge but i was able to reach the top with about 5 stops ? beware of the monkey and bat poop ?. With that being said, it doesn’t smell pleasant up there but what you will see up there will amaze you. The Tour guide Ian was knowledgeable, he gave us a lot of suggestions, where to eat, what to try. He was nice enough to answer questions outside the tour. He even helped out with the photos. I suggest to those who will get this tour, have your legs ready for the 272 stair climb, stretch those muscles and enjoy the trip❤️❤️❤️

Victorina Dior · 15/02/2020

This Day Tour is very convenient for my family since they pick you up from your hotel and drop off you to your hotel at the end of tour. Since we purchased our tickets online, we just get it from our tour guide and we just hop on a cable car. Nice and cold place (bring a jacket). Batu Caves is a must for tourist to visit. I'm glad Klook help us to go there!

Alyssa Fides · 09/02/2020

The trip was well organized with punctual hotel pick up and a very passionate tour guide named Lucas who gave us a lot of information. Water bottle was thankfully included. We were given much free time to walk around, which was appreciated. I would definitely recommend this trip to everyone who is visiting KL.

Kevin · 09/02/2020

Awesome pickup.very friendly driver Fadzil. Also nice guide Nafia offering key insights about places. Visited Genting, batu caves. Good ride and awesome views from skyway.

ARITRA · 09/02/2020

The guide Nadia and driver Sara were very caring, gave us alot of deop off options. We had super fun! Genting highlands was awesome. Batu caves was nice too though it was hot. Thank you klook!

Sherawin Pinky · 08/02/2020

You must visit Batu caves and Genting Highlands if you are in Kuala Lumpur. The cave is super cool and I recommend you guys to walk all the way up to to top to see the temple . Lots of fun in Genting Highlands. Go to the top with awana cable car and you shall see the playland, casino and shopping outlets. Our tour guide Nadia is very fun, responsible and informative. She really did a great job in the tour!

SHEUNG HANG · 08/02/2020

Very nice trip First batu cave was fantastic Then local shop Then Genting Highlands really amazing Bus was comfortable and Tour guide Mr. MC was very helpful and friendly

mohamed · 07/02/2020

Thanks to our tour guide, Mr Pillay (sorry if wrong spelling). He kept on reminding me about out trip and arrived on time. He shared a lot of infos and history regarding Batu caves, hindu and genting. Very talkative, helpful and funny tour guide and I shall recommend him to be your tour guide! Unfortunately didn't have chance to take picture with him. Yet, will looking forward to meet you some other day as our tour guide! Love from Brunei Darussalam. xx

Ahmad Faiq · 05/02/2020

Amazing entertainment place. Beautiful weather. You need a week to experience all activities here ? Batu caves has Hindu pagoda so I recommend you wear long pants if you wanna join this tour. Otherwise u have to rent a sarong which to cover your feet with 3RM. And be careful with the monkey who so smart to realise anything in plastic bag or plastic box are food, they will steal them very fast ?

minh ngoc · 01/02/2020

I found my trip to Genting highland enjoyable. I enjoyed riding the cable car and seeing the views down below. However, visiting the Batu caves was a disappointment. There are so much trash around the place. I have been impressed with cleanliness and orderliness when I arrive here in Kuala Lumpur and having found the areas around Batu caves unsightful didn’t do good to the image of Kuala Lumpur.

Delia · 28/01/2020

Sir Deva is a excellent driver and storyteller who knows how to entertain his guests. A lot of knowledge about Malaysia, his culture and history. He was very helpful. We did really enjoyed the trip with mister Deva. if you book a tour in Klcc surroundings, request for Sir Deva. you will not regret it. gr Sebastian

Sebastian · 21/01/2020

This tour is amazing. Puvanes, our driver is knowledgable with Batu Caves and Genting Highlands. I never imagined I could reach the top of the Batu Caves as it looks very high. Genting Highlands is also fascinating as it is located on the top of the mountain and can be reached by riding a cable car. The climate is cool in Genting compared to the city of KL. We also enjoyed touring Sky Avenue, the shopping mall in Genting.

Dennis · 20/01/2020

A personal tranfer is very beneficial if you are travelling with kid. Also the timelines are easy to be followed and chnaged if required. The driver was in time to pick up from hotel and was courteous enough to drop us at location of our wish. Try to reach genting highland a little early to enjoy as much as possible.

Amit · 17/01/2020

Astrid the tour guide was amazing with her knowledge of Malaysian history. The temple at the first stop in Genting Highlands was a highlight for the day. The shopping and Casino at the top was great. We loved the monkeys at Batu Caves.

Vanessa · 16/01/2020

Lovely day trip. Our tour guide was amazing and gave us a lot of details about Genting and Batu cave. Definitely worth a visiting, we had just the right amount of time in each place . There were no delays and everything ran on time and the views were incredible so dont forget a camera!

Chay · 13/01/2020

Beautiful experience, driver was on time and tour guide was exceptional... our tour guides name was Steven and he was just amazing. He explained everything in detail and guides us through the entire process with a map as the place is huge with lots to do. Batu caves is stunning peope of all religions can go for blessings at the temples. I would definitely want to do this again. Thank you Klook.

Catherine · 11/01/2020

We travelled to Genting Highlands first since there was a religious ceremony going on at Batu Caves. The coach bus came straight to our hotel to pick us up and it was incredibly comfortable. Our tour guide Lucas was extremely kind. He messaged me on What's App to make sure I knew they were there. We had 3 hours to spend at Genting Highlands, there are two cable cars that go up. the new cable car was in repair when we went so we had to use the old one. Trust me though, 3 hours I'd definitely not enough time at Genting Highlands. Then, they took us to Genting Highlands Premium Outlet mall, it's about a 5 mins drive from Genting Highlands. We got about an hour and a half here. Afterwards, they took us to Batu Caves. We had an hour to explore which was plenty of time here! They also gave everyone each a water bottle on the tour bus. Overall, it was a great time!

Bao Gia · 10/01/2020

spledid tours! I love the journey. (eventhough at first i thought we will walk in a line along with the guide, but thanks to the scenery and good landscapes help the rating reviews?). 谢谢您,因为我喜欢这次旅行。?

Sudikse Inggrid · 04/01/2020

rani · 03/01/2020

super like the view, and the tour guide super nice, they pick up us in our hotel. hassle free,.:) :) :)

Mary Joy · 02/01/2020

Great Day out Stephen was excellent and kept us all updated informed us of the local views and Maylasian structures and history. Great Day. For those not sure what's involved with the Genting Highlands visit it's a giant Shopping Mall with everything under the sun available including all kinds of Entertainment, Casino & Restaurants. Stephen was great

Jade · 31/12/2019

This tour is one of the highlights of our visit in Malaysia. Seeing the breathe taking view of Genting Highlands, all their activities, entertainment, and food are top notch! The Batu caves is also a must see, although we were terrified of the monkeys and the heat was too much for that day, we still enjoyed the experience. On top of that, our tour guide, Ian, was also a great help during and even after the tour as he suggested restaurants and places to visit. He also helped us in navigating other prts of KL even after the tour, I commend his dedication. Just a reminder to wear something to warm you up in Genting highlands because it can be cold and remove clothing layers for Batu cave (for ladies, check dress code- dress that is knee level is not allowed and need to pay for cover up) because its hot. Also don’t feed the monkeys! ?

Patrizia Anne · 31/12/2019

It was a remarkable experience at Genting highlands and Batu Cave tour plus free stop at Chin Swee Cave it's a breathtsking view that you will never forget. Thank you so much klook for having this affordable and hassle free tour. If you visit in kl don't forget to get this tour.

Mayelle · 27/12/2019

I enjoyed the tour immensely. The standout of the tour was that everything was as per scheduled time- pickup, activity, drop off. Just perfect, thanks to the tour guide Mr Stephen and my fellow tour members. Mr Stephen has excellent knowledge and a great sense of humour. His mini diagram of genting helped us to navigate Genting quicker. The thing I dint like about genting resort itself is that it’s not Child pram/disabled friendly. They don’t have lifts to traverse the different levels, just escalators. There was one lift inside for which we were supposed to call on a number given. No one answered. Other than that casino is there if you like your lungs filled with cigarette smoke and an empty wallet :) We actually enjoyed the Chinese temple and surroundings much more than the resort and would have loved to spend some more time there. Batu caves, one of our tour members child fell down from stairs and hurt himself. So word of caution, be careful and keep a watch on kids/yourself while climbing/descending 272 stairs of Batu caves. All in all it was a enjoyable tour.

Avinash · 26/12/2019

The trip was well organized, the tour guide was very helpful and funny, overall good trip worth the money.

ahmed · 23/12/2019

When I asked my mom what’s her favorite during our trip in KL she will answer this. She really enjoyed the Batu Caves since she’s big on temples and the cable car ride.

Princess · 23/12/2019

Transport came on time. Tour guide MC Pall is friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Nur Shyidah · 22/12/2019

Nice and well-organized trip . Pick-up on time , excellent guide Ian who shared a lot of information and tips .I thank him a lot and the safe driver Kevin. Very comfortable bus For us , shopping was not our aim , so we spent most of the time in Chin Swee Caves . This place is extremely AMAZING , 2 hours were not enough to discover its charm and divinity . Batu caves were great . We climbed the stairs and took a great experience of Hindu culture . Our kids enjoyed feeding monkeys . I just suggest giving 30 minutes extra in Batu caves and Highlands .
