Huangpu River Cruise (Qingjiang Line)

A must try experience at Shanghai, the night view of Shanghai is truly amazing. This ride allows u to overview the illuminated attractions and its literally a photo zone as you could take amazing pictures from any position on the boat. Using this Klook ticket, made the whole experience even better as the process of collecting it was smooth and hassle free.

Easy redemption at the counter but it has two different redemption counter based on time. Good view around the huangpu river. Recommend to go at night for night view.

Went in Dec’19 and due to the wind, we manage to snap a few shots outside before back inside the cruise as it was too cold! Highly recommended to go at least once when you are in Shanghai as the nightlights are really beautiful at night (:

Great experience, if I ever come back in definitely doing this again. Love how you could go at whatever time works best for you. The building was a bit hard to fine but it wasn’t a major problem. But most definitely recommend.

This is honestly one of the main highlights of our trip in Shanghai!! We were lucky that the ship wasn't crowded. The view from the 2nd floor was superb! We enjoyed the view and the cold breeze! ?

Seats are first come first serve and by the time we got on the cruise, all seats were taken as 80% of seats are reserved for VIPs who have to pay extra 50 yuan per pax! Would recommend bumping up to VIP as you get to sit comfortably and will be given a bag of snacks and drinks. They only accept cash for the VIP seating so do take note!

Fair price for what you get. Although it was hard to find the pier. Also there were no free sits (only for 100RMB), which we didn't expect. So everyone was trying to get a spot on the deck edge. And it's not really pleasant in a cold day. We recommend to take a scarf, as it gets quite windy on the cruise.

Magnificient view on the cruise. We can go to the top deck and enjoy the breeze but it can be tiring standing there for the entire trip. Recommended

Best way to appreciate Shanghai City lights. We rode this around sunset and it was perfect. The ticketing station is a little far from subway station, but you can still enjoy the walk in the bayside going there.

A must see for 1st time traveller to Shanghai. You will see the amazing view of The Bund and on the other side of the skyscrapers.

A very good experience! The cruise has plenty of seats and viewing area, it’s also very clean so no need to worry. The cruise also run every 30 minutes or so, so you can basically adjust your cruising time according to your preference. You can see all the bund has to offer from the cruise, very pretty at night as well! Ticket redemption was easy peasy, just make sure to get to the correct ticket booth that klook told us too in the booking info.

My family enjoyed the Huangpu River Cruise experience. Best to have this cruise at night to see the beautiful night lights of the buildings. Claimingnof ticket was easy too. The station is just near The Bund. Thanks Klook!

You might have to check both pier 481 & 551.after 5 PM it is said to go to 551 but infact we have to go back to pier 481 to sailing. View was wonderful, exchange ticket also smooth. The last hour is 9PM night, the cruise will sail every 30 min.

Voucher is easy to redeem. We took the 9pm cruise and claimed our tickets in the 1st booth. Value of cruise is ¥120. This tour os a must see and experience in Shanghai. I believe it is best experienced at night.

It’s good for family. We had like a lot of children. So it’s free kids under 1.3m and it was a good experience. But you have be aware that location of the pickup area is a bit difficult to find though.

it’s a bit pricey tho but it’s not bad as a tourist activity. journey is around 1 hr u will go a round and take photos.

A 45-minute cruise along Huangpu River. The cruise ship have 3 floors. With the ticket bought in Klook you can go up to the 3F for free. If you wish to seat in the 2F & 3F (on 3F they have separate sitting area), you must pay for RMB50 to have the seat + free complimentary drink. But I didn’t really care for that so I didn’t pay. I mean, the view on 3F standing area is already good in my opinion!! :)

Very nice option to have a nice view of both side of river. Stunning evening light view. Inside of the boat keep us shelter from the freezing cold outside, while the top deck allow us to have a very clear view of both sides showing both Modern and historic buildings. We were amazed how many new buildings were built in SH in the past decade!

Great ride by the river. Very good scenery. Service of ship is great. Fully recommend tourist to ride. Lights will turn on at 6pm daily. Best to take rides after 6pm.

Evertime we travel to a city, it is always in our to do list to have a river cruise. From Seine, Thames, Rhine, Amstel, Chao Phraya and Singapore, Huangpu is as good as the others. Just present your klook barcode and everthing is fine!

A definite must-go! The night view of Shanghai was amazing and the collection counter was easy to find with proper instructions. Suggest to collect your ticket earlier to book your cruise slots at the counter itself. The highest deck of the cruise ship is an open air standing area, no VIP Pass needed in my opinion!

Nice experience of cruise for about an hour. We took the 535pm and we were able to see the lights at night. What isnt just quite nice is the walk too far from the metro. But ticket claiming is efficient though

We went for the cruise at night .It was drizzling and cold on the upper deck but you get to see clearly without fighting with other passengers on board and take many pictures.A spectacular sight to see at night .Colourful lights from both sides-Pudong and the Bund.It wasn’t that easy for us to find the ticketing office to redeem the tickets as it was dark and we walked quite a bit from Yu Yuan garden .Once after redeeming the tickets we waited for half an hour to board .It was worth it though.The ticketing office is opposite a hotel called Wanda.

Very easy to pick up tickets with helpful images showing you exactly where to go! Also helpful that the address was given in Chinese. We went on the cruise at 5pm which was great but it was too cloudy for sunset. The only downfall of this time was that the lights for some of the building seem to turn on after we got off, which was a bit disappointing. We also stayed on the bottom floor where there were hardly any people and had private windows to look out from. The only problem was the glare from the lights made photos harder to take. Otherwise excellent cruise!

It was a great experience in Shanghai. I recommend that this activity is a must!! The ticket is easy to redeem just following the map which I go there by MRT to Yuyuan station and take a taxi to the ticket office.

Very easy to redeem the tickets! We went to the Shiliupu ticket office by the bund during early afternoon to get tickets for the evening cruise at 6pm. We also got the VIP add-on tickets when we boarded the cruise - they are super worth it as they give you access to the tip of the cruise, without anyone fighting over where to take photos. Pro-tip: arrive 30min before you cruise time to start queuing, we were stuck behind a large tour group and our group of 4 almost got broken up.

Very easy to redeem. The ticket counter is along the Bund area. Show them your voucher and they will give you the ferry ticket. There are 2 place where you can redeem your ticket. 1 for night cruise and 1 for day cruise. Just follow the instructions given by KLOOK.

Lovely boat ride on a clear night! The view was much better than the one from the viewing platform. Will recommend to pay a little extra to go to the less crowded VIP area so you can get the best view! For December period, take either the 5pm (for sunset) or 6pm boat ride will be the best time.

Awesome! Easy to redeem! You can spend time on the top deck to take pictures but if u decide to seat on the top deck, there will be additional charge. Seating in the lower deck ia frew and u can still have a nicw view.

This is an activity that shouldn’t be missed when in Shanghai. Ticket collection and boarding went smooth. The view to the Bund as well as to Pudong is amazing. Totally recommend it.

The 1 hour cruise trip is nice. Recommend to go for night cruise after sunset. The building besides the river will on the light and I really enjoy it. As now is the winter, the wind on the upper deck is super cold.

I think it is a must activity in Shanghai. Anyway, thanks for Klook, its offer a cheaper price if you buy from the counter. Please be aware of the departure place, it is very clear to state on your E voucher. Once you arrive the jetty, you may heading towards the counter to change the physical tickets. We went there in December, it was freezing cold. The scenery of Huangpu River and buildings is amazing.

Definitely a highlight of my trip to Shanghai! Easy to locate venue for voucher redeeming with no issue selecting my preferred time slot for the evening lights later that day. Lots of room to have a great view and well organised crew.
