Manukan and Sapi Islands Adventure

The trip was amazing! Beautiful beaches and tasty food

Our guide is THE BEST! Mr Leo?? the weather’s perfect the people are great and the islands are amazing! Fantastic! Perfect! I don’t think we have any complaints. Since we are in pandemic alert, please listen n follow the instructions. At least we can travel during this time of year. Salute??

Our tour guide is Tommy, very friendly guy. We depart from Sutera Harbour Jetty and it takes around 15minutes to Manukan Island. There was not many tourist, maybe due to RMCO/PKPP. We enjoyed snorkelling at both Manukan & Sapi Island. We was lucky when we were at Sapi Island, there were only two of us (tourist)! There is toilet & changing room at both island and it was clean. Thanks to Tommy for taking care of our belongings. The only cons is there is no bbq lunch buffet, instead we are given lunch box, this is due to PKPP SOP. Overall we enjoyed this activities and recommend for those who want stress-free island tour and get your lunch sorted out during the trip!

The trip was GREAT. Hafis is very well prepared & expert navigator. He gave EXCELLENT SERVICE & VERY HELPFUL. Great personality & cool comfy vehicle too.

The experience was okay and hassle-free. Driver was on-time, and him and the guide were very friendly. We weren't able to swim the beaches because it's the jellyfish season (March to May) said our guide. Manukan island was pretty, we encountered 2 stray komodo dragons (within the guests' reach), it was a bit terrifying and there was no one from the animal or environment department who came to steer it away from the guests. Sapi island is a lot better! We took a handful of photographs and just sat there in our assigned spot, it was a perfect time and place to relax and chill. Two of our companions got stung by the jellyfish though, after they swam on the beach. Toilet is quite far from the banquet. The banquet was okay, there were lots of food but the refill is too slow. So I didn't have the chance to get another round of the food. Overall, it was cheaper and okay ? I just wish we had spent a little more time in Sapi island. we were only there for 2 hours only ?

We went here because BTS visits this place on one of their summer package. The weather was gloomy when we visit but the place is nice. Our tourist guide was also nice and very helpful. Even the driver who took us to the port was nice. There are very few guests when we visit due to Covid, still, we enjoyed our stay.

Nick was my guide and I was on this tour with 3 other ladies! Nick is great and he took great care of us. Nick makes a great photographer too ? The driver pickup from hotel was on time. We took off from Jesselton point Jetty to Manukan Islands, where we could chill and snorkel at the beach. The clear blue waters and fishes are a beautiful sight! Then we took a speedboat to Sapi Islands where there's seafood lunch and 2 hours of free and easy. I tried parasailing (top up RM100) and it's amazing. Be careful of the jellyfishes. I'm a solo traveller and had an amazing time on this half day tour.

Our guide Louies was great, we really enjoyed our trip to the two islands, with the possibility of snorkelling on both and a nice lunch. An added surprise was seeing lots of monitor lizards!

Good one-stop service

From the time the order is placed, the merchant will actively contact you to confirm with you and carefully introduce the matter. The tour guide is a little handsome guy who is fluent in Chinese. If you have any needs, you can tell him that he will find a way to cooperate with him. When we go out to play, he will keep the belongings with him. Both islands are worth going, especially the big underwater stroll, there are so many fishes, and Nemo is so cute

The islands are so beautiful. the water is so pristine and the waves, calm. It was also a very organized tour. a short but promising visit to the islands of Sabah.

Over-all, it was fairly good. Nothing special. What I like about the experience was convenience - the tour package included a hotel pick-up service. Although, we had to pay 100 MYR because our hotel is far from the city. The guide gave brief instructions and you are free to roam around the island. He will also look after your bags. It was the jelly fish season when we came so we can’t really enjoy the water as much as we want!

The tour is great especially the sea walking activity. Also, the food served for lunch is heavenly-delicious and unlimited for a period of time. Our tour guide, Hafis, is informative and approachable and willing to take pictures for us.

Pick arrived on time and guide was professional. The places are wonderful with clear sea waters. However don't expect to see much corals at these 2 island.

The tour was well organized. Our driver was on time (even early by a few minutes). Our guide Tommy took care of us really well, sharing a lot of tips and stories about the island.

The weather was nice during our tour. Not so many tourist. We enjoyed the beach much..just be mindful of jellyfish at Sapi and be prepared for your first aid kit/remedy when stung. Manukan island is also nice. Food was nice also. Our tour guide Frankie was also nice and helpful.

They pick me up at my hotel on time ti Jesselton Point. Updates are sent real time by the driver as well. I had a great time and was able to meet a few people on the trip too. Nice experience, though it good if they will extend the tour up to 5pm maybe so to have more time to swim and relax. Our tour ended at 2:00pm back to the main land real quick.

Great island hopping experience

Water activities are very fun. It is a pity that there are fewer things to see in the snorkeling area. In addition, the lunch on Mamodi Island is delicious! The tour guide will help take care of the bag, you can rest assured to play!

Tour guide was good can speak both Chinese and English. Island similar to Phuket. Water not as clear as photo. Sapi Island is small. Manukan island is bigger and nicer. Snorkel near the beach, can see some fishes. Lunch was ok. Would recommend to skip Sapi, Manukan alone will be good. Or try other island.

This activity was the highlight of my Kota Kinabalu trip. If you want a hassle free and affordable way to enjoy the beach of Kota Kinabalu you should not miss this activity.

The local operator contacted us 3 days before the tour. Pick up was on time and there weren’t a lot of people in the tour. Weather was fine and there was a lot of fish in the sea. Parasailing is a must try.

This activity is great. Had fun seeing the ocean,fishes and meet new people.I also like the foods, it suit my taste buds. Parasailing is perfect, you should try it guy. Kudos to Rong (tour guide) for assisting us throughout the entire activity. Thank you Klook for the memories!

Our guide Jack was really nice and he has a positive attitude, always smiling and he gave us lot of the information about the islands and the region. If we have to take this tour again, we would love to join still him.

Excellent trip. Loved getting out in the water on the islands. They were beautiful. The beaches were beautiful. We went parasailing and it was so fun. Would do it again. Our guide was very helpful and attentive.

It's our first time in Kota and it was a wonderful experience for our group. No hassle at all because we were picked up from our hotel-port-hotel. Our tour guide, Tommy was very nice and approachable. Food was great as it was buffet. Beaches were good but we could have stayed longer in Sapi Island because it is more beautiful and cleaner than Manukan Island. Overall, it was a memorable experience.

Wonderful trip and good journey

Had a fun experience at both islands! Our guide, Tommy was friendly and helpful. Shared a lot of information and emphasised on safety. He also helped to takecare of our belongings. Water sports e.g parasailing, sea walking, banana boat and etc can be done at Manukan Island at your own expense. Lunch is provided at Manukan as well. There were a lot of dishes and it taste not bad! For Sapi Island, you can swim, snorkel or just relax. It is a smaller island hence the time spent was shorter. Showering facilities are available so you can wash up before leaving the island.

I think it is much better to spend more time in sapi island than manukan island because the water in manukan island not that good. You can see floating plastics everywhere. Overall, the tour was great.

Me and my family enjoyed this tour, both Sapi and Manukan Island are beautiful. The driver pick us up from hotel straight to jetty. Our guide, Rong, is helpful, he make sure everyone is in the group and safe, thank you Rong ! Overall the trip was nice :)

The tour guide was very accommodating and informative. The tour is super worth it especially if you will try the extra activities they’re offering.

Tommy was a terrific guide ! Very friendly and helpful. Sapi is a nicer place for snorkelling . Mana Kun was great for the water sport activities .

my kids and i enjoyed the sun and the beach. we love the parasailing with newly met friends. you just have to watch out for the time keeper. food at the beach was great.. our tour guide was cool. thank you so much.

We love the island hopping though the tour guide is not that accommodating and is always missing in action. We are always worried but nonetheless the trip was worth it. Hopefully next time the tour guide makes visitors feel important. We will definitely use Klook for these kinds of adventures.

Hassle-free tour! Pick up from hotel, boat ride and the visit itself. Plus the food is delicious. Plenty of dishes to choose from! The beach is nice, has clear water. But slightly crowded place.

tour was smooth and came with a buffet lunch. May be the tour operator could provide better menu though. Water activities are very expensive. Me and my companion did not take any of the water activity being sold by the islands' operators.

Loved it! This tour is operated by Jassan Adventures and their local tour agency is really professional! My friends and me, we requested the agency to adjust the itinerary for us (heads up, tell the agency in advance to bring you to Sapi first and then to Manukan Islands as the water in Sapi is wayyyy better!) Our local guide was Rong and he gave us really honest and beneficial suggestions. After the magnificent Sapi Islands, we had lunch in Manukan Island (the food wasn't that great so don't have too high hopes as the food catering is done by the local operator there)

We were picked up on time from our hotel. The tour guide was a little awkward, but he made sure everyone in our group was safe and that nobody got left behind. If you're from the Philippines, you don't have to go on this island adventure, since I personally believe we have nicer beaches at home. My mom and I had a fairly good time though, we just wished it hadn't rained towards the end of the trip.
