This is a new experience for myself but a pleasant one to say the least.. the small adjustment in price makes a diference.. But please do choose your time for traveling... We went back to Hsinchu at peak time so it was pretty crazy. Other than that, the KKday app, is pretty cool and i will be using it alot more :D

The station is clean and elegant, staffed with friendly and efficient people, the trains are fast and spotless, and the lunch boxes totally delicious!

High Speed Raid is very convenient especially for Taipei - Kaoshiung track which is quite long. Klook allows to save a few hundred NTD so it makes sense. just remember that you need to change voucher to real ticket.

High Speed rail is convenient and fast way to travel. Klook discount is nice. Only inconvenience is that you need to go to the counter to exchange voucher. (And if you want to use online reservation you need to use the other short voucher code - and you still need to go to physical counter to exchange voucher). As I booked a few tickets via klook I exchanged them all together at the counter then it was faster.

Cheaper to buy in advance through Klook and easy to redeem the HSR tickets over the counter. I managed to catch the express train to Taichung and the whole journey took around 40min.

The station is quite far from Tainan downtown but its worth the experience. Big station with very helpful staff. The train platform has no ac so better wait in the station until a few minutes before train scheduled time. Very good noodles served in station.

Fast and convenient way to get from Taipei City to Taoyuan Airport. The only disadvantage is the need to take a MRT from Taoyuan HSR station to Taoyuan Airport. Would be much more ideal if we can just get straight to the airport. Cheaper to get the tickets from Klook and easy redemption too.

The experience was great and picking up the ticket was easy. There were clear directions and no time wasted. Train was on time and the best part was that it was not crowded and got me into Kaohshiong in a very short time. It was a manual ticket so you will need to provide passport to the guard/security who will let you in through manual gate.

Claiming of the tickets was very quick at the Taipei Main Station HSR ticket counter. You simply have to present your mobile voucher and passport to have your THSR ticket. Show it to the manned gates as the staff will let you through the turnstiles after verifying the tickets.

Great experience! Hassle-free and easy to use ticket. We just presented the e-ticket at the ticketing booth and we chose the available time schedule for our trip. The HSR is the fastest way to get to Taichung. We visited the Zhongshe flower market. From Taichung Station, ride the adjacent local train from Xinwuri to Taian Station (40-45mins). From there, it takes less than 10 minutes to reach the flower market.

Redemption was pretty simple, Free seating coach 10-12 was quite crowded due to festive season, you have to arrive early if you want to redeem tickets with seating to secure a seat. Overall great purchase!

Taichung is now my favorite place in Taiwan. Everything is cheap compared to Taipei. Buses are almost free, within a certain km distance. From the Station, ride a free shuttle bus that will bring you down town. I loved the food in Taichung, especially since I’m plantbased. I will definitely come to Taichung again. It’s so close to Taipei. Tip: try going early to reserve a seat. We didnt get to sit from Taichung to Taipei because we had it during NYE.
