The Habitat Penang Hill

definitely worth the trip! such a great hiking experience and magnificent view. love being surrounded by nature and totally enjoyed the scenery and ambience there. they have an eatery there as well and souvenir shops. a must to drop by and enjoy some food and desserts and purchase some momento to bring back home.

This attractions entrance fees is too expensive for a local, perhaps, the price could be revised lower a bit. But I got this special offer price from Klook, so it is worth a visit. Besides the longest canopy bridge, Curtis viewing decks and giant swings, not much to see. but I still recommend this place if u love nature.

Very pleasant park. Even if you have fear of height it is doable, the overall experience was that it is quite manicured so it is not too adventurous or natural, however at the “langur canopy walk” & “Curtis Crest tree top walk” you see the expanse and literally get close to nature. Coming up could be a hassle during holidays or weekends so I would strongly recommend to take the “express lane” for the funicular tram up and down as it would reduce waiting time a lot especially if you have young ones and elderlies. Enjoy!?

A must do activity at Penang Hill. The facilty is kept well & have many spots to enjoy. curtis walk & zipline being the most enjoyable ones ! Views from Curtis walk are breathtaking while in my opinion, the zipline could have been little longer.

There weren't any queue to buy the ticket on the spot but it is cheaper on Klook. Great, calming place with excellent views of Penang. For those who love the nature, plants and trees would definitely appreciate it more than myself. When it rained, we literally got a rainforest experience haha but thankfully it did not rain for long and it wasn't crowded in Habitat itself.

It was a nice walk around the rainforest and you get to see some interesting plants and flowers. The staff at the counter was friendly and ticket redemption was easy. Place is well kept and cleanliness is maintained. Just purchase the funicular train ride at the lower station to fo up. There's not that many people nowadays so a normal pass is the same as fast pass. Spent rought half a day up there.

It was easy to redeem on the spot. Front desk staff is helpful and very informative. Suggest to go in the late afternoon to avoid the hot sun, and bring enough water for the 1.5hour walk. The complementary ride after the tour is fun too!

Last minute purchase at the entrance. Tix about 15% cheaper. Poor cell reception inside so download the vouchers earlier at the entrance. Easy to use, collect wristband upon presenting them vouchers. Worth a visit. Enjoyed the stroll.

Go on a weekday, you get the place all to yourselves! Everything is ecofriendly and well preserved. Beautiful and pristine. A must visit if you come to Penang! Entry was seamless with our Klook Voucher. Make sure to snapshot your voucher before you come up Penang Hill as there may be no internet coverage up there

Overall the habitat view is nice. This is the first time been there. Its good to visit around 10am you van see the very clear view on the top.

Great escape from the busy city life. Surprisingly managed to spent 5 hours here, enjoying the nature and taking photographs.

It was a very Memorable Experience . Reached Penang Hill around 4 PM and Upper Station around 4.30 . The weather was phenomenal . Curtis Crest walk was absolutely fantastic . Overall it was a well and Healthy Time spent with Nature.

Great experience ! Penang funicular railway has been upgraded few years back. it’s now just same like The peak tram in Hong Kong. Enjoy the forest walking in the habitat. Enjoy the beautiful scenery at the Curtis crest.

Went early morning. Fast ticket redemption by scanning if buy from Klook and skip the purchase queue. Many trees and plants and wildlife. The staffs are friendly and chat with us about what we are about to see inside. Will go again!

We had fun exploring The Habitat under super hot sun. Nature lover should really try it out! However there wasn’t really a guide on how to walk over to The Habitat from the entrance of the cable car and we spent some time looking for the place. Also, there wasn’t clear sign inside the habitat as well and we somehow wasn’t able to find the way to the crest. Otherwise, it’s perfect!

I enjoyed going to the Habitat and the ticket scanning at the entrance took only seconds. The place is beautiful with so many trees and plants as well as wildlife to see such as monkeys and many other animals. It’s really worth going to the Habitat.

I love going to the Habitat as this place is really for nature lovers and using the ticket I bought from Klook was easy. I simply show the electronic ticket of mine and it worked very quickly. The Habitat is a beautiful place for a nature walk.

Klook price is lower than the actual price. On top of that I used klook credits which made it even cheaper. Very easy to buy and redeem. The place is good, informative and scenic. Loved the curtis treetop and giant swings.

I visited during mco, not much crowded. Well established crest view from long Bridge. Maybe I get used to see all the green leaves nature, if could be better there is some more flower species. this ticket is not included funicular express which is price at rm 12. If u would like jogging, take funicular up to see the view and enter other attraction also good.

New entrance opened since our last visit in 2019. Place is still well kept and as beautiful as it has been. Friendly staff. Nice cool weather. Misty meant we could see much but still nice crisp refreshing air.

Beautiful and must do when in Penang! Wish I could spend more time there. Best to go early in the morning otherwise it’ll be too hot. Had internet issues and couldn’t load my klook booking but luckily staff at counter helped me to connect to their WiFi. Redemption was quick and much cheaper compared to walk-in price.

It is cheaper than you buy the ticket over the counter.If you are a nature lover then this is the place you definitely should pay a visit. You can enjoy magnificent 360° view of the Penang from this place too

Glad to have done this while up on Penang Hill. The canopy walk was out of this world and really did feel like you were walking amongst the treetops. It was so nice and refreshing to feel the cool wind all throughout. Highly recommend adding to your list while in Penang!

Traveller to this place, must bought ownself train ticket first before proceed to habitat. First bought ticket, then wait for the train. Second after drop off from train, proceed to walk about 5minutes to habitat. Third get the ticket, then can scan in. Lastly enjoy the fresh air of habitat. Dont worry when u finish, there is shuttle car to go down the hill later, towards exit.

It's out of my expectations. However, if you have time, it's good to have a walk there. it's all about nature, floras, didn't meet any animals there.

The whole buying and admission process went smooth. The staff at the ground informed us to take a screenshot of the ticket QR code because there would be no connection up there. And once we arrived, the staff scanned the codes and gave the tickets. Easy peasy. We had great time at The Habitat. One of the staffs working inside The Habitat was friendly and took time to have a chat with us while waiting for the jeep to arrive. We took the jeep to go back to the entrance. He said it would be better to take a jeep ride rather than to walk. And I love the quotes they put on the signage boards.

Bought this deal on Klook Buy 2 free 1. Super good deal as per person admission is RM 53 at the counter. Show the voucher to the counter at Habitat, they will exchange the print out tickets for you immediately. You will need the ticket to scan in and scan out of Habitat. Do wear comfortable walking shoes in and bring your water tumbler as there are water stations for you to fill it up. No food and water is sold inside.

Amazing Experience with Klook, super easy to redeem tickets and great discounts! Great place on Penang hill to spend your morning and afternoon, beware of the super long lines for the funicular train up and down Penang hill and come prepared for standing in line for multiple hours for the same, but once on top the experience is just breathtaking.

What a place to be at! My family loves it and my kids get to explore and see so much of nature plus they were so excited to be on the longest bridge. We reached the train station at Air Itam around 1pm, purchased the fast lane tickets (which are so much faster cos we get to skip the queue) took the Funicular train there and manage to finish the trail by 5.30pm. Tickets are 2 ways and priced at RM12 for Standard (adults with MyKad), RM40 for Fast lane (adults with MyKad) and RM20 for Fast lane (kids with MyKid 4-12 yrs old). As an alternative to uphill you can take the 4x4 which costs RM160 for 4 pax but we prefer the train cos our kids get to see much. Tickets into The Habitat are much more cheaper in Klook compared to buying straight from the counter. After our trail, free shuttle is provided (a 4x4) to ferry you downhill.

Fabulous experience! We had a lovely walk around and over the skywalks. Would highly recommend a visit. Walks are easy underfoot and it is a pleasant relief being in the cooler air. Our 2 year old managed all the walking absolutely fine. Would suggest buying the fast track for the train up saves a lot of queuing maybe an hour each end. Worth every penny extra.

Without The Habitat forest walk, Penang Hill is kinda underwhelming for me. This is such a great experience, and KKday let you enjoy a 15% off walk-in price (Jan 2020)

Worth of visit. A very pleasant jungle walk. Everyone should try it when visit to Penang. At the top of the Habitat you will be amazed by the 360 view of Penang & it was fascinating. Try it. Enjoy it.

Getting ticket was quicker and less fuss! Paying rm40+ for a ticket with fresh air, clean, beautiful forests and magnificent view is worth it. A date here may worth 80x more appreciated to me than going to the malls ❤️

The Habitat offered way more than I was expecting. Take a walk through the 130 million year old rainforest which has been perfectly sustained. You can find an array of wildlife here while taking the walk all the way round the facility and escaping the city life which was great. The 360 viewing platform offered great scenic shots and there is water dispensers around to keep you hydrated. Would most definitely recommend. I would suggest purchasing a fast lane ticket to reach the top of Penang Hill as the line to the top can be long and take a while too.

Refreshing nature trip! Cool breeze, which is a welcome respite from the heat of the city center. Lots of green landscape. Very educational with posters along the trail. I’d love to do this again and again.

Very interesting for nature lovers. You can redeem ticket and enter the Habitat really fast. The cafe service is very slow though. Plan your trip well as you will have to wait for a long time for cable car if you don't get fast lane ticket.

Me and my sister had great time and experience. We love the walk and the sounds of the nature. Cool relaxing place to enjoy the greenery. Curtis crest offer great view. Took many photos while we were there. We tried the swing also. The canopy walk was enjoyable, much to see and learn. The best place to unwind from busy city life. Take some time to stroll through the flora of Penang Hill on the canopy walk. The treetop walk, 'Curtis Crest' is quite a climb though.

Excellent rainforest experience! Best to go at 9am when The Habitat opens to avoid big crowds. Lots of water dispensers all over so you stay hydrated. Just make sure to bring your own water bottle.

Highly recommend to go to Habitat to enjoy 365 view of Penang! Staff members are friendly, not very crowded! Hope next time can enjoy sunset view.

Very crowded attraction. Really worth the value to spend more on the fast lane. Amazing experience to ride on the steepest railway. Separate fees for attractions on the hill, a very large area once up the hill. A must visit!
