Although we stayed during non-restaurant dine-in period, the overall experience was great. Requested a kid tent with extra top up. My child enjoyed it very much.

The location is good with a lot of good food places, even during no-dine out period. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and quite new looking. Will definitely come again. In personal opinion, it might be even better than MBS, which the location & crowd & time you might spend while waiting for the lifts.

We've been going for monthly staycations and I have to say, Sofitel is still the best so far at this price point! We came here in Feb with our elderly parents and now we are back here again for our anniversary. We stayed from 13-15 May, booked during a 1-for-1 night promo for about S$300 with high tea, which is a really good deal. Our room is facing the shophouses this time and we could catch the sunset. We noticed some differences between then and now - the hotel did not respond to our emails this time round (which was quite upsetting actually) but I guess we should be more understanding since the hotel staff may be overwhelmed by the Phase 2 Heightened Alert measures. Check-in was also extremely slow despite only having 3 couples in front of us, it took us 30 min to reach our turn. A couple of things are now missing in the room, probably also due to the hotel's efforts to reduce contact surfaces (e.g. they used to have a beautiful teapot in the room, bathtub caddy holding a champagne glass & a book etc.). We also felt that the cleanliness of the hotel room was not as ideal, there were stains/dust on the glass and mirror in the bathroom. There're also stains/dust/grime on the chairs as well so we decided to wipe down the furniture on our own. That's all that they didn't do well this time. As usual, afternoon tea was delicious and the room is beautiful. There's a great selection of TWG tea, Nespresso coffee, a giant TV and a big Bose speaker in the room. Bed and pillows (you can request for firmer pillows if you want, but please request for all the items that you need at one time to make their lives easier pls!) were super comfortable. All the rooms (luxury rooms & suite) come with bathtub and great water pressure. Breakfast selection is limited but delicious, and this time round we noticed that they limit guests to 1 main and unlimited sides (try their laksa, ham/cheese omelette & iced latte!). The other downside is that the hotel does not offer complimentary parking, but weekend/PH rates are affordable at $2.50/entry. Tip #1: The hotel may send an email to you on their eStandby Upgrade® Program to potentially upgrade your reservation for as little as $32 extra/night. We understand that the system generates this email at random and not everyone receives it (guests will not even get this email even if you request it). If you do, take this opportunity to upgrade your luxury room to a suite as you will usually need to pay $240++/night! The hotel does not usually offer free upgrade, we've tried 2 times to no avail. The upgrade is worth every single penny, the suite is super beautiful and huge with premium fittings. Comes with a giant bathroom with premium Balmain toiletries too. #Tip 2: Gyms are closed now but the pool is still open. Make your pool reservation earlier using the link given in the email (which the hotel's reservation team will send to you a week before!). #Tip #3: It may be very demoralising to be capped at 2 pax for staycations right now. But we just have to make use of what's available! This is a hack to allow you to mirror your movies/Netflix on your phone to the hotel's TV. Turn on the TV. Go to 'Entertainment>SmartHub TV App'. Choose any prog, e.g. BBC News, then press 'Menu' button on the remote control, select 'Network > Screen Mirroring' on the TV. Then turn on the screen mirroring function on your phone. On Samsung, it's "Smart View" under settings. Huawei calls it "Wireless Projection".

Our second visit this year! Is definitely one of the hotel we wldnt mind revisiting again and again! Love their hospitality and especially the huge rooms and bathtub with the benefits of having late check outs at 4pm! All hotel shld do this like seriously! Their bfast varieties is consider not bad ya. The only thing to improve is if the food came more piping hot then tt will be great. All the servers and chef are all super friendly. Chef even came out to bring my son for a kitchen tour. Which makes my son a memorable experience. Swimming pool is abit small and lack of kids area. Water is cold but nonetheless we still enjoy ourselves v much!

A new building right above Tanjong pagar MRT station, very accessible and there’s a ton of food options around the vicinity. You will not go hungry. The check in process was very smooth and quick despite it being Mother’s Day weekend. Due to the Klook promo, the lounge at level 6 can get very crowded. Hence you will need to make a reservation online for the happy hour drinks and even to use the pool. The room is amazing. It looks exactly like the photos. Bathtub in every room. Views are stunning. Overall, great stay.

Great stay with Sofitel, room was very clean. It was very convenient and great food around the area too. Very smooth check in and check out, gym equipment were sufficient for workout. Breakfast was okay and high tea was good too. Though I forgotten about the ARC gift set, I was able to get a set after I emailed in after I check out. The staffs there were very nice and friendly . Really enjoy my stay here and would stay here again.

Excellent Service provided throughout our stay. Check-in process was a breeze, and the staff allow us to do early check-in when we walk in about 2pm. Mention that we are celebrating a birthday and they gave us a complimentary cake which taste super good. Fridge was not working and they sent someone up to do replacement within 15min. Do note that the fridge arent exactly cold but not much issue since we didnt keep ice cream there. Housekeeping saw us going for breakfast and check if we want them to make up our room so we said yes. Came back from breakfast and everything in our room is neatly arranged, with shower shampoo and all refilled because we used up almost all already. The showering set was from Lanvin and the smell was super good. Swimming pool booking was also a breeze, as well as the room overall feel. Didnt want to leave the room when its time for checkout. The only downside was pillow slightly soft if not the whole experience would be perfect. But i will come back again if there is another buy 1 night free 1 night promo :)

We got the zoo package that comes with lunch, Ah meng soft toy, a tent for my girl. After a great morning at the zoo, we are exhausted. We managed to check in, thanks to the helpful crew. Tea break with sumptuous cakes and canapés, simply love it. The room service food is yummy too. i love the hokkien mee, olive rice and beef burgers. kid love bathtub, tent, and the pool. everything was in good order despite the huge volume of guests. we love how we are greated by the white and orange giant bears. the service is worth 5 star. we enjoyed our stay and had great fun. thanks sofitel

Package was really affordable & worth it. Room is very clean and come with a good view around tanjong pagar. - Items and equipment is good like there is a smart TV that you can connect your phone, Nespresso Coffee Maker, Bose Speaker. Facilities in the Hotel is clean and pretty new - Gym is spacious, limited machines but good enough to have a simple workout. - Swimming Pools is huge and come with a good view - Club Lounge’s service was excellent. Provide you free drinks and small refreshment, definitely you can have a meal there but tea break and small bites is good enough especially the quality of the food. (Come with certain package only) - Hotel Breakfast provide a reasonable amount of different food ranging from Asian food like nasi Lemak, laksa to western breakfast. Service - sometime a bit slow especially forgetting drinks but mainly due to number of customers so considered reasonable. Service of the hotel is good - Allow late check out upon requesting

Big enough for us with extra work desk...very happy to have such a spacious place for my baby to run ard ❤️❤️❤️ request for baby cot n had a nice n wonderful one placed in the room... without any extra charges... service was excellent and its a new & very clean hotel... very comfortable staying there... wonderful pool experiences with my kids and if there is a chance we may wanna book n stay again :)

The hotel itself and hotel room is really luxe. Monica at the front desk was so nice & friendly, she made our check-in really warm & welcoming. The hotel room size is great and the bed was so comfy! Evening cocktails at the club lounge was kinda rush with only 1hr but food & drinks were good! Will stay again when there's another good deal!

Is my 2nd staycation and I also choose Sofitel to be my 2nd choice. I bring my both son for staycation and I top up to upgrade my room to Suite. Is very happy that my boys are super enjoying, and I also very enjoy because I pay for upgrade that I can have complimentary for the lounge and have a free flow for alcohol at 5-6pm. this package is different that from my 1st purchase. but this visit I can feel their service is not good then my 1st visit. May be because they are too busy or.??? I pay and Upgraded my room to Suite. But they are not giving me High floor. i stay at 13th floor only this time. my 1st visit was stay at 16th floor. Last visit I can have a baby Kimono ?, but this time they are not provided. Other wise all is good. Food is very nice, wine is very good too. For the high tea is very nice. But Breakfast they was change menu d. is different from my 1st visit. is lesser choice for vegetarian now. Last time have udon mee.

Made use of the 1 for 1 deal from Klook and Rediscover vouchers for an overall very enjoyable staycation! Pros: 1. Location at Tanjong Pagar was great with many food choices and Donki within walking distance. 2. Good and attentive service. Even though there was no housekeeping during our 2 night stay due to Covid, the staff gladly obliged for our amenities to be refilled and towels to be changed. 3. Check in was swift and our room was ready when we arrived at 1pm. We were also granted late check out at 4pm as indicated in the Klook package. 4. Free afternoon tea included in the family package was a plus :) 5. Sound proofing in the room is good as we couldn’t hear any noise despite our room being right next to the lift lobby. Cons: 1. Swimming pool was quite small. 2. Breakfast selection was rather limited and we thought the taste was normal. Was initially worried about the breakfast crowd in the morning because of some reviews that we read but we were seated immediately even on a Saturday morning. Perhaps avoid choosing a long weekend to stay with them? 3. Would have been great if the Smart TV had Netflix installed. Would definitely consider to stay at Sofitel again :)

Had a lovely staycation with my family during the 1 for 1 special, really worth, including afternoon tea and breakfast are good as well! The service is good and the room is comfortable they also provide complimentary tent for kids.. Location is very convenient at city center.. Recommended for family or couple staycation!

I booked a 2D1N room and I got to say Sofitel deserves a 5 star rating. The room was very well furnished, bedding was just right (we called for firmer pillows), toilet amenities by Lavin was very nice smelling. Breakfast spread was also great, it was main course ala carte with free flow sides and beverages. Afternoon tea was very filling, the regular price was $88++ and it was free under our room package. The only down side was that the samsung smart tv wasn’t that smart. It doesn’t have screen cast for screen mirroring from phone and the internet browser doesn’t support netflix and disney plus. So regular tv channels was only available for us and if you want to watch your own shows, please bring your own laptop and HDMI cable. Overall it was a very good stay with good food, good job sofitel! Highly recommended ????

Definitely value for money because the hotel is new & sparkling clean. We really enjoyed the strong jacuzzi jets by the pool. Gym is adequate equipped. Just the sunbed is quite dirty but you can line the towel on top of it. Breakfast selections are good enough but I would not say it is outstanding, more of standard level. The staff are mostly very friendly, thank you Sofitel for preparing the yummy honey cheesecake for our anniversary celebration. I would love to visit again.

superb service from all the staff. having staff that remembers your dinning request and arrangement makes one feels super VIP! room was spacious, clean and well kept. toilet was clean and spacious except that the bath tub is not very comfortable to soak in nor get up if you are only 1.6m short. my kids loved the tent bed. we love how efficient and accommodating the staff were. if there is another such deal, I will definitely book and go again!

Definitely recommended and I am really amazed by almost everything as promoted online by Hotel! Apart from sharing photos of room and pool which u can view on hotel site, check out the bath room big bath tub, wide variety of food for breakfast and cocktail session, and also the nice night views from room and even on a relaxing day at pool side lying down on their bed after your soaking session in the pool... I have to give praise to Kelvin Chan of the hotel staff who also assisted and completed my special request for a birthday and proposal surprise for my partner~ kudoz to Hotel!!!

It was a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Sofitel for my family and we were thankful for the many good food inclusions thrown in together with the room - breakfast, afternoon tea and $50 credits that we used for some light snacks in the evening at the lobby. Service was good and staff were friendly. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for a staycation with good food.

I enjoyed my 3D2N stay at sofitel. Breakfast was good and i ate alot. Bed is big and comfortable but pillow are soft, so for people who like hard and thick pillow will not like this. I was able to see cruise ship and sea from my room which was very nice. One thing i did not like in this hotel was that there was no bidet spray in toilet, other than that all was good. I will definitely come back again if i want to staycay again.

Got the 1 for 1 night deal during promotion. Hotel room is fantastic and comfortable. They were kind to give us a cheese cake to commemorate our wedding anniversary! It is the best that I have tried as well. High tea was awesome, with the different varieties of cakes all in a box. We got a surprise that they allowed us late checkout at 4pm as well. Will recommend to friends for this hotel.

Had an amazing 3D2N at Sofitel luxury room. Room was large and bed was comfortable. Downside is that the pillows were extremely soft. Appliances provided were clean. Breakfast was served at lvl 5. Had to queue the first day because we arrived at 9am. Last order is 10am. Food was good. Overall a very good deal during 1-for-1 promotion!

Great deal to book the family staycay package via Klook, booking is fuss-free and easy. Our package comes with afternoon tea, breakfast and late check-out at 4pm is value for money. Hotel is conveniently located above Tanjong Pagar MRT station. We were greeted by courteous and friendly lobby staff for temperature screening. Front desk is located at level 5 and check-in process was a breeze and front desk staff, Monica who attended to us is very warm and welcoming. Our room at 18 floor is big, clean and spacious with tent setup for my kid. Design of room and toilet are well thought of and basic amenities we need are all provided for. Afternoon tea at 1864 was nice and relaxing. Breakfast at Racines is ala-carte style, we like the variety and enjoyed the selections we made. Go early to avoid the crowd. The view at swimming pool oversees the urban landscape of city centre with some hint of greenery is splendid and IG-worthy, my son had so much fun at the pool. We like how the hotel limit the number of people for each timeslot so everyone can have a good space on their own. Throughout our stay, all service staffs we encountered from concierge, front desk, housekeeping, 1864, racines restaurant and pool area were all prompt and friendly. What we think can be improved would be the Youtube channel on in-room tv can be activated and to provide amenities for the little one for family staycay package. Overall, my family enjoyed the stay and look forward to revisit someday.

got the CNY deal where we had a buy 1 and free 1 night stay. booked the family package and it was a great deal. started the staycation with an afternoon tea which was great. room was spacious and surrounding amenities was fantastic. staff was good and overall the hotel did not feel overcrowded. check in and check out was a breeze. very happy with the stay!

Thanks to the special promotion, I managed to book a night and get a night free. 3D2N to celebrate my spouse’s birthday and wedding anniversary. Not sure why but we were given a free complimentary room upgrade, didn’t know it until we went into the room to realised it’s the suite. The suite comes with a child tent for my little one and she really enjoyed playing/sleeping inside the tent. The bathtub was huge and wide, comes with Hermes bath amenities. Really enjoyed the stay. We will visit again soon. Thanks to staff Andrew for help & Monica for helping us to do the processing of checking in. The only thing that need to improve on is the breakfast. Not a fussy eater but it’s not nice , we were given two days complimentary breakfast but we didn’t go for the last day , went out to have our own breakfast. Cleanliness , service , standard and everything is definitely worth a 5 stars.

A 1 to 1 night free stay at this luxurious hotel just located above Tanjong Pagar MRT station. Super convenient location. I’m loving it so much. The room is designed down to the very detail to ensure the feeling of class and luxury when you enter. Was offered unlimited non-alcoholic refreshments all day and club lounge access at Club Millesime, which we took advantage of a couple of times. Breakfast was served ala Carte buffet style due to the pandemic and the food was extremely excellent. All in all, 2 thumbs up for a great staycation

My favourite staycation. Very central hotel, extremely near Tanjong Pagar MRT, eateries etc. Breakfast was good, ala carte buffet. The lounge was a peaceful retreat, with free coffee, tea, juices, snacks from 7am to 11pm everyday. What I really liked was the 1 hour alcohol and canapés ala carte buffet at the lounge. The room was big and luxurious. Love the separate bath tub that I could soak, read, drink at the same time. A thoughtful care-pack with masks, hand sanitizer, was provided in the room too. Great stay, would drop by again!

Conveniently located near Tanjong Pagar MRT Station, you can get to the hotel with ease. The breakfast at Racines was decent and the service was excellent and prompt. Do try to avoid the queue by going to the breakfast at an earlier timing. The only minor issue will be the cleanliness of the food, there were some leftover food on the floor. Great staycation nonetheless!

Great staycation, awesome room, facilities and nice views on the Chinatown/Outram Park side. Friendly staff, including front desk and those on shift during breakfast at Racines. Better management of breakfast crowd may help improve the experience, although I was not affected as I was at breakfast before 8.20am.

Had bought the 1-for-1 deal during the CNY period using the SRV & was a good steal with a big room with king size bed, nice city view, separate bath & shower, TWG tea & Nespresso, 2 day’s breakfasts + 1 high tea. Really feel welcome by the staff, Jocelyn. The lobby and the restaurant decor is nice. Upon reaching the room, it is really spacious, loved the bathtub. The shower and toilet bow are separated. The only downside is the soft bed and pillows.

Lovely staycation at Sofitel. Our 3d2n package includes cable car ride, tapas and dinner at Arbora. Checked in was swift albeit the March holidays. Room was huge and clean. Breakfast was okay, but do head down before 8am to avoid long queue.

Booked a 2-night honeymoon staycation with Sofitel as a returning guest and the experience still did not disappoint. Prior to checking in that day, we were given a complimentary room upgrade to the Prestige Suite which certainly made our day. Overall, the stay was definitely the most memorable and the afternoon tea set that came with the package was delicious. Would definitely return again to have a short getaway or celebrate a special occasion!

Great experience at Sofitel City Centre! The staff were attentive and offered great level of service. The queue to check in was pretty long when we arrived but it wasn’t too bad. We were offered a room with no bath tub if we were willing to take it, which allowed us to get our room immediately. They also offered late check out till 3pm. Breakfast spread was pretty good and we had a great time at the lounge as well as part of the package. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Beautiful place. Opted for top floor (20th floor) suite for proposal. Registration Staff is helpful despite march holiday request surges. They also gave complementary cake to celebrate this occasion with us. Will visit again for sure ! 10/10 recommended! p.s: try out their in-room dining as well.

Took an hour plus to get the room despite queueing up for check in at 2pm plus. However, we got a late checkout upon request. Evening cocktail at the club lounge came with food and the service there was excellent. Breakfast at Racines was great with many choices to choose from as well selective unlimited food items. Got the buy 1 free 1 night stay package at Sofitel, which comes with an awesome cable car ride up to Mt Faber Arbora Hills for dinner and back down. It also came with free drinks and tapas for 2 that were delicious. Overall room was decently spacious, clean and cosy. Toilet super clean, with a separate bathtub & shower area & wc. They even gave a complimentary 150g honey cheesecake for my husband's bday.

Definitely coming back for another round of staycay despite a few hiccups. Kids friendly place especially with the tepee tent and the friendly bears all around the hotel lobby. Pleasant stay except for the pillow which is too soft for my liking. Breakfast was semi buffet style in the sense u get a main and unlimited sides.

Beautiful & luxurious downtown hotel with all the right touches. Greeted by a warm & attentive host named Andrew, he went the extra mile to spoil by upgrading our room, serving welcome drinks at the bar and providing tips to ensure a fuss-free stay. The pool was gorgeously chill with beautiful landscape and deck beds. We were surprised to be served food during cocktail hour @ Club Millesime as we only expected to be awed by the alcohol selection. The special in-house brew was definitely a talking & tasting point. Daniel, Diana & Shafiqah made sure that our glasses were always full and plates empty. Loved the unlimited sides served during breakfast and making only one choice among all the mains proved to be a daunting task in the morning. Sofitel Downtown provides the legendary comfort and luxury that is associated with the esteemed chain. We will most affirmatively look forward to be pampered again.

I book a room with breakfast,afternoon tea and dinner for 2 (also use the 100 SG Voucher). We came at 2:30, queue for check in at 3:30 but was told to wait for awhile and we end up able to go in our room at 5pm. We told the stuff if we could have late check out but instead they give us free afternoon lunch when we check out the room. I did not know there is a pair of tickets to the cable car at Mount Faber, we have to take a cab there cause the dinner reserved at 6:45pm which is very rush... Still all the meals there were fantastic! ? My mum and I really enjoy ourselves! Will book this place again for our next staycation trip ??

Squeaky clean room and we thoroughly enjoyed our staycation. They set up a tent for our family room package and my son was really happy with it. Love the Bose speaker too that we could play our music with it. Only thing we dreaded was the breakfast queue.

Looooooved this hotel!!! Omg the room was super big and clean and so was the bathroom!!!! Even the bathtub looked brand new! Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful! However I would say the breakfast wasn’t that great! Portions were small and took a long time to receive the food (probably because they were so busy). Dinner was at Aruba and the food was soooo good just a hassle to get to the place. But overall would recommend this hotel for a nice getaway!

Extremely good deal. Love the afternoon tea and late check out. Room is very spacious. Convenient location and directly just above MRT. I waited very long in the queue during check in, as the counter lady is super slow. The 2 queues beside me kept moving and mine wasn't. There's another table behind the counters, but that staff kept bringing guests from first counter to register instead. Other than this, we had a fun stay. Thanks.

We just returned from our 2 night’s stay at the Sofitel City Centre and already missing it so much! Plus: Its location is right above Tg Pagar MRT (and connected to Guocco Tower) means you are never short of F&B options like Starbucks, Joe & The Juice, SamuRice and highly recommended City Hotpot! Within walking distance are chic cafes like Baristart which serves great Hokkaido coffees, desserts and pastas. 100AM Mall is just a short 5min on foot, you can find Don Don DONKI, and other Jap bakeries and Ramen restaurants there. The hotel itself is stylish, new, luxurious and spotlessly clean. Check-in was swift. Even though it’s the Mar sch hols, you can see the staff putting in extra effort to accommodate the crowds. We love our upgraded Suite room on the 11th floor, with a large living room, dining table and a deep bathtub that provided us with really good soaks. Purchasing the stay through Klook’s CNY flash sale gave us additional perks like free afternoon tea at the hotel lounge, daily breakfasts and late 4pm check-out. My kid loves the tent in the room. We had a fab staycay despite not being able to travel overseas. Its really good bonding time for the family. Kudos to the duty manager Veronica and her team, Andrew, Monica and Daniel for their exceptional service during our stay. Would definitely love to return. Tips: The queues during breakfasts can be very long. We advise guests to wake early and go down for breakfasts before 8am. If you do not get your preferred pool timings, ask the hotel to waitlist you and very often, slots will open up. The pillows in the room are very soft, if you need firmer ones, try to request early from Housekeeping.
