Captain Explorer DUKW Tour

Using Singapore Rediscover vouchers, I am finally able to try out this activity. It is quite interesting, especially when the vehicle goes from land to water (you will get abit wet if you are sitting in front ya)... haha!! I enjoyed how the tour guide gives info on the trip, and some interesting fun facts on places in Singapore. Good for families with kids as kids will have fun too. Photos taken while on the ride. Enjoyable, everything went well. The splashdown into Marina Bay waters was a brief but fun experience. While sailing, the views from the boat of the various landmarks were awesome. My only little regret was that the engine noise was quite loud, and sometimes I couldn't hear clearly what the guide was saying/explaining.

Went for the whole dukw and 2 bus rides. Arrangement of the ticket dates and time was very easy via email. They replied very promptly and the collection of tickets on the actual day was very easy. Personally I feel that going 1 bus ride is enough if you’re a local or it might be too boring. However, the dukw ride was soliddddd. Will like to compliment the tour guide on that actively hyped us up as the boat goes into the water; helping us to take photos & videos, telling us the best photo spot, playing nice nostalgic music on the microphone and having a in depth knowledge about Singapore attractions! The other staffs were also very helpful telling us to be careful of our steps and driving very safely! My family loved it a lot and it was really the highlight of the day. Will totally recommend this to everyone!

We have our 1st Duwk tour on 13 Mar 2021 920am. It was superb impressive experience with the combination of land and water tour around singapore. The highest compliment should be credited to tour guide Irene (if i remember her name correctly). We very impressed with her explanation during the journey and shared with us the spots to take insta-able photo. She has even gone extra miles by helping us taking photos and video that leave us a superb memorable experience! Thanks Irene. Lastly, thanks to other friendly admin staff too! We will be back again!

A good tour guide for this experience is very important. The DUKW tour brings you to the center of the bay which MBS, the Singapore skyline and various five star hotels are centered around. There are a lot of things about Singapore a tourist or local can discover. Uncommon photograph spots from the water are icing on the cake.

It is the first time to bring kid for duck tour riding. My kid is feeling excited. It is a 60 minutes wacky duck tour. A city and sea sightseeing tour. Can see lot of nice river view. Not bad. Fun for family with young kids. Try it if you have not experienced it.

It’s awesome to see Singapore historical landmarks from a different perspective. The tour guide, Mr William, has been very entertaining and knowledgeable.

The tour guide was able to give detailed sharing on Singapore's history. She was friendly and able to create the atmosphere during the journey. We had fun and a good experience.

Overall it is a good experience, really enjoy the time especially when the DUKW enters from land to sea, experience a splash of a lifetime. The tour guide is also very professional in telling us all the landmark in Singapore. Also help us to take nice photos. This is truly a memorable experience for me and my family.

Strongly encouraged to hop on board and take the front seat where possible to enjoy the splash. Guide was engaging and gave some good bits of information on the attractions along the way. Keep your camera handy as there are lots of photo opportunities. Great way to support local tourism too!

Enjoyed the nice scenery.. A different way to explore SG.. Would be better if the tour guide could explain in mandarin as my parents doesnt understand english. But overall they still enjoyed the trip.. Klook advise to check for slots b4 booking. But didnt receive any replies when I tried to email and check. So i went ahead to book first and emailed them my prefered slot, I received cobfirmation within 24hrs.

Have used the SRV voucher. As always, redemption is very easy with Klook. Booked the captain tour instead of the Duck Tour coz it is cheaper. Enjoyed the ride in the water very much.

Better experience than expected. There are two companies in Singapore that run an almost identical sea-land tour. One is the bigger Duck Tour, and the other is the smaller DUKW Tour. Duck Tour is $4-5 more expensive per ticket and runs 2-3 vehicles at a time. DUKW Tour only runs 1 vehicle at a time. Where DUKW Tour has an edge over Duck Tour is that DUKW Tour runs a 6.30 pm tour which lets you catch a bit of the sunset view on the water. Duck Tour’s last tour is 5.30pm. Some people find the engine noise too loud, so just be prepared. Although sitting in front seemed to help with the noise, the view was a bit restricted. So do consider where you want to sit. Anyway, an overall excellent experience. A fun way to spend the evening.

It was a good experience to be a tourist at your own country and it was something that I wanted to do and I was glad that I could ticked it off from my bucket list. There were place we went that I didn’t know and this activity is good for families with small children. The guide from DUKW Tour was really informative and helpful.

Good experience in land and sea. Able to see various iconic buildings from the sea angle. Cooling tour at 6.30pm.

First time taking such amphibian vehicle, interesting experience. Having this tour at 6.30pm is breezy and cooling. Enjoyed the sea journey and scenery.

I had an amazing time with my family. The guide is very entertaining, the tour is on time and everything is good. Despite there’s a small hiccups when buying the coupon here on Klook. You need to check the t&c and check with the tour operator first on the availability. It’s avail on fri-sunday only. Otherwise, everything is good and great. Very happy.

They are so friendly, flexible and reminded me of good old Singapore kampung spirit! ?????????? hope the company can see this and relay my big thank you to them! Despite the influx of visitors (using SRV or not) and the stress to process the transactions differently, they still manage it well. Tour guide is knowledgeable and I learnt a lot about this island that I didn’t know despite living here for 35 years. Even the uncles driving the vehicle are nice. You can’t really see them smile but can see through small actions that they do consider your well being especially when you have young kids. Singapore kampung spirit rocks! ??

Definitely recommend. Edna (if I spell correctly) is a amazing tour guide. Thumb up for her! She took video of us (passengers) and also edited the video as well (include music). She will tell us which angle is good to take photo too.

This is fun. Almost an hour ride from start to end. Guide is knowledgeable in his subject and gave good background of the icons the duck vehicle passes by. Strongly recommended if you have not been on one before.

We had a fun time cruising on both land and water and listening to interesting and fun commentary from our guide, Mr William. A combination of history learning and leisure at its best.

Bumpy when on the road but smooth sailing when in the river. No petrol smell from the boat motor. Nice scenary an enjoy the breeze. Recommended activity for family.

First time onboard the duck tour. We enjoyed it very much as we go on Christmas Day, got the festive mood as Christmas music and special duck music played make it special too. Nice experience to see Singapore scenery.

Great for elderly, family, children. Lucky to have an awesome weather, not too hot but also not raining. Exciting when the captain explorer gets into water!Tour guide is knowledgeable but the captain explorer can be noisy such that the guide’s voice is muffled.

Enjoyed the fun ride and great views. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, provided good information and fun facts. She also helped to take family photo and captured a video of the ride to us.

Overall best experience. Easy to book thru klook and redeem the SG voucher. My family loves it so much especially the kids. First the weather was scorching hot and it rains super heavy suddenly and get to roll the plastic cover down while the amphibious vehicle still moving in the sea and roll it back up when up on the land. The guide lady was really knowledgeable and funny.

Would appreciate more consistency / better communication between Klook and the partner, CityTours (CT). On the one hand, Klook said to check with CT about available dates and time, on the other hand, CT said to book on Klook first before they can book the timings for us. It was quite a waste of time emailing back and forth (because calls went unanswered), hence would appreciate consistency between the two platforms as to what you want the customer to do. Having said that, the actual day experience was good. Efficient check in and temp taking, we appreciated the safe mgmt measures taken and the fact that seats were assigned. Weather also held up, even the guide said we were lucky to have such great weather. Beautiful view of the Marina and Merlion taken from the river perspective.

The experience is amazing! The amphibious vehicle offered great fun for my kids and the tour guide is knowledge and great at taking family photos for the participants. Will recommend to others.

That’s ok. But not wow. Mostly for children. For adults you can take simply water walk with excursion

I brought my 73-year-old dad with me and he really enjoyed the tour. It was far beyond our expectations. You’ll get to see most of the important landmarks in Singapore within an hour. The guide was very friendly and caring. Highly recommend to all!

Find the wrong meeting point. Fortunately, the wrong meeting point tell us the correct place and finally we able to join this activity. The tour is around one hour and relaxing

Very special experience

It ’s a special experience. The commentator will introduce it in a very orderly way. There are not many people in the morning shift, especially the tourists are a lot less, so it is more comfortable to play!

Very worthwhile event

Attendance was at 8:30, the original Chinese tour was originally only in the afternoon, but because this is all Chinese, fortunately, the whole tour is in Chinese. It is recommended to participate in this event a few days before arriving in Singapore, you can first get an overview of Singapore's important attractions. The tour guides are very enthusiastic and professional. They also take photos for tourists and recommend recent activities. It is a great experience.
