Grand Hyatt Singapore Staycation

Booked a staycation with my family for my birthday. Surely enjoyed our stay there and my kids don't wanna go home, cos they upgraded us and we got a bigger room and they enjoyed themselves there. It was raining and so we didn't have a chance to go to the swimming pool. However, room, service and staffs were excellent. Might be coming back soon. Thank you Grand Hyatt and Klook! :)

The staycation at Hyatt Hotel was brilliant. Fast and smooth check in.

The room is big & clean too. The food for Dinner & lunch was a spread and delicious. Highly recommended for a couple or family stay.

Nice place to staycation,staff was friendly and attentive.My kids love the place specially our room with bathtub.Dinner buffet was nice and feelings.

Thank you Grand Hyatt for your best service! It was a good one, we thought could have stayed longer. The staff were very kind and extended what they can for us. The check in was not very smooth, had to wait 2.5hours to get our rooms. Thankfully they allowed us to enter the lounge for yummy treats like high tea! We were glad to celebrate our parents’ anniversary there too! Thank you for the cake and card! Glad to have city view as requested. The swimming pool is quite a walking distance... but still good. They even have colouring book and crayons for kids to be occupied! Thank you so much for the service provided!

The room was bigger than we had anticipated! Our kids had so much fun running around. Having the bathtub was awesome as I would prefer being indoors than being in the swimming pool due to the pandemic. Would definitely return to Hyatt!

The rooms were big and comfortable and comes with a living room and 2 TVs. When you turn on the TV, it shows your names and there's a wide selection of information on the TV, that tells you you can have your choice of pillows and request for turndown service. Though we did not use these services, it felt nice to have that option. Rooms come with a bath tub and bath salts! Hotel is also walking distance to many shopping malls, convenience stores, eateries etc. Enjoyed my stay thoroughly.

Had an amazing short staycay - (23-24 March)!! Was greeted by friendly staffs with smile on their faces. Even the level 11 cleaner was friendly - she welcomed us & even talked to us!! The room was huge for 2 paxs - worth it. Bedroom & toilet was very clean. it smelled very nice too. Bathtub was big enough to fit in 2 people esp couple! I like how toilet & shower are separated with doors. The L-shape sofa is comfy & the room has 2 tvs. The room has many hangers & empty drawers - suitable for a huge family & their stuffs. Only lacking is the tv channels - has limited channels to watch. Hehe. Swimming pool was good too. Go on the weekdays is the best - no need to book for slots. Great view while watching to the pool area. Straits Kitchen breakfast - all staffs are friendly & warm. Kept checking on my mum & i if we need anything. Breakfast was sooo good. From western to asian food. Delicious. Keep it up!!! Overall - WONDERFUL experience!!! Would come back again for sure!!!

Room ???? Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Location ????? Food ??? Grand Hyatt always make me feel very welcoming. They maintain their excellence service throughout the years. Due to school holiday period (plus everyone is stuck in Singapore now due to Covid-19), we queued for an hour to check-in. We are served packet drinks and popcorn while waiting for our turn. Staffs are also seen walking around helping guests with enquiries/needs as well as ensuring everyone maintain proper social distancing. We are also compensated with late checkout. Oh and a small conolimentary chocolate cake for my husband's birthday! The Deluxe Room is clean and spacious. The bedroom is separated by a sliding door from the living room. Ensuite bathroom comes with a bathtub that has a separate showering area and toilet. However as Grand Hyatt is a relatively old hotel, some of the fixtures are a bit loose. Sound proofing also not very good as we can hear sounds from the road outside. Hotel can consider refurbishing to enhance guest experience. Ala Carte Breakfast Buffet is a little disappointing. Very normal compared to the usual hotel buffet breakfast. Limited varieties. Quality definitely can be better.

Loved the customer service! Upon reaching, the queue was very long. Since we have multiple rooms, they said it’s alright for only one person to do the checking in on behalf of all the rooms. They gave us complimentary refreshments while waiting. The room was very spacious! The scenery was pretty too! It was really worthwhile! As I booked for my birthday, they gave a complimentary cake as well. I enjoyed my stay there and I will definitely be back. My family in the other rooms were very happy and contented. We enjoyed ourselves at the pool too! Thank you for meeting with my request for high floor with bathtub. Thank you for the great hospitality. Hope to have microwave oven in the room the next time. ?

It was a pleasant stay at Grand Hyatt! Will definitely coming back for our next staycation... Room and toilet is clean! Spacious room for a family of 5. My kids happily running and play in the room! Bathroom en suite is huge!

Love the hotel, love the room. Check-in was done at 1330hrs but we only receive our rooms at 1730hrs. Was given a late checkout out of goodwill at 2pm the following day. No availability of swimming pool slot on 1st day & only have a slot at 1300hrs on the following day.

check in at 6pm was smooth upon check in deposit of $100 credit/cash. room was big .bedroom and living room was divided by a sliding door.bathtub available. swimming pool was cold. receive amenities for the kids crayons and colour booklet n free ice cream.check out at 3pm using express check out.overall awsome

The room is very spacious, the staff is very friendly and the food is acceptable. At the same time , the birthday cake is very moist and delicious The only downside is that the swimming pool water tasted salty

Our second time staying at this amazing hotel. Took us a while to get checked in due to the school holiday crowd but it was managed well. Room was ready by 1.30pm. Jennie was extremely calm and composed in tending to us. She kindly combined our separate bookings for a seamless experience. We got a room on level 19. View wasn’t fantastic but we could see Ion through the buildings. Overall experience was great as usual!

Great experience at the Grand Hyatt. Early check-in was a breeze assisted by the lovely Jeffrey & Shanel. They kindly addressed our concerns and assisted with some of our requests. Definitely our go-to staycation!

Had a wonderful staycation at this hotel. Although it was during school holiday and peak period, the hotel had managed to follow the standard covid-19 guidelines for the safety of the hotel guests during the check-in as well as breakfast. Strongly recommended!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and in good condition. The only setback was the pillows were rather flat. Gym was well equiped and maintained. Breakfast was good...pancakes were fluffy and creamy. Overall a good experience and we would definitely consider doing another staycation there again.

We check in at 1pm but we got the room at 1745hours due to school holiday hence the long waiting time but they compensate us with late check out at 2pm. Their breakfast was awesome especially the mee goreng. Their breakfast service staff was also attentive and good. If only one negative comment I would say is the swimming pool chlorine is so much and the water is very salty. Otherwise me and the kids love our stay. Definitely will come back to stay, thumbs up!

My family and I have enjoyed our stay in Grand Hyatt! The amenities and the ambience in the hotel especially in the room is welcoming. I loved the massage session at Damai Spa. I would really come back for that. I just hope that Strait Kitchen's menu will have more variety in future especially the breakfast option.

A wonderful experience to stay in Grand Hyatt. The food was fantastic! The room was spacious. The staffs are friendly. Only one thing that are least expected was the queue. It was super long when we arrived. Almost two hrs waiting to check in.

there was a long queue to check in but it moved pretty fast. we were asked to rest in club lounge while waiting for the rooms to be ready. very pleased with the room. overall staff service was good.

Excellent stay at Hyatt! Lovely big bed, very good sized room with a comfortable area to do work. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Gym had a good variety of equipment too

No regrets for choosing Hyatt for our short staycation using the SRV vouchers. Hotel personnel were polite and helpful from the point we entered the premises. We received an email informing us of the staggered registration timing (9am - 11am) the day before. We came early and managed to avoid the long queue at 3pm. Need to deposit $100 per room. Received a message once our rooms were ready. Collected the rooms key cards directly from the concierge. All the staff were very friendly and professional - Misdulah, Tiara, Desmond (on the phone) Appreciate that the front desk staff (Shanel & Royston) made the effort to get us rooms with bathtubs. Rooms were huge, clean & well maintained. Received cakes for my nephew's birthday & my sister's wedding anniversary. Request for extra pillows & ice cubes were promptly attended to. We were unable to get late checkout. Need to book slots for the pool & breakfast session The location of the pool is quite a distance to walk to. Pool water was salty. The squared segmented area within the pool was quite deep. Breakfast at Straits Kitchen was great with a selection of choices to choose from. Teh tarik, pancakes, scrambled eggs and char kway teow was yummy!! Service staff was professional & prompt. We really enjoyed the food. We left behind some items and we were delighted to receive a call from Azizah, the night after we checked out, that the items were found by Lin Bin. Really appreciate it!! Looking forward to the next staycation at Hyatt again! :)

Been eyeing this staycation package since last year when SRV started. Eventually made the decision to stay for 2 nights during the school hols. Easy redemption of the SRV. Never regretted this decision. Although the hotel is a bit jaded (interior and exterior), we are pleased with the great service and cleanliness of the hotel. We were informed 1 day earlier via email to come early (9-11am) for check in which we did. Waiting for a room was a tad long but we were told beforehand of the long wait due to longer time to get the rooms cleaned and disinfected. We were given a jr suite room a few minutes past 3pm. The room was huge with separate living and bedroom. With 2 big TVs. Well stocked minibar but all items are chargeable. Loved the bathtub and separate shower stall (with ceiling rain shower). Bed is huge but a little stiff, as with the blanket. Nice and soft pillows. Generous with lightings which gives the room a lovely ambience. Swimming pool is big but the water is salty. Need to book a pool slot with the concierge in advance as there's a max of 35 people allowed at the pool at one time. Breakfast was acceptable. Kids were given a goodie bag and voucher for chocolate fondue at the poolside bar. Overall a great stay and wouldn't mind returning. ?

Love Hyatt Grant Suite. Its Big & Roomy. Come Along With Dining Area Where You Can Eat Comfortably. You Are Also Entitled For Club Access. Nice Place To Chill & Relax. Highly Recommended.

Hotel scheduled me to come down between 9-11am for check-in to avoid the crowd. Check-in time was 3pm but requested for early check-in, got the room key around 1pm, could be cause its a weekday? Deposited $200, balance returned upon check-out. Extra bed is $95+. Need to book slot for swimming pool. For Breakfast, theres 2 allocated time 7.30-8.45am or 9.30-10.45am at Straits Kitchen. Liked the alacarte breakfast menu, simple & tasty. Service was fast & warm too. Will be back again!

Worth it for a hotel in orchard road. Service was amazing. Even thou it is still busy and crowded on a weekday, the experience was great

Cleaned and spacious room. Got two complimentary cakes for my twin sons’ birthday and the cakes are soft and nice. We will surely return. Thank you Grand Hyatt Singapore. ?

Booked the Deluxe room for check-in on 13th March. Had to queue for about half and hour before able to check-in. The service staff gave drinks for customers who are in queue. Requested for a smoking room and they managed to give us one with a balcony but it was on the 4th floor. Also mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday and they gave us a complimentary cake. Overall stay was pleasant, although furniture was a little dated. Would come back again.

I arrived for the check in early to avoid long queue as sch hols starts. Was attended by Jeannie (I think) she was friendly and let us check in early. The room was big and comfortable and lot of free bottles of water. Need to book swimming pool in advance and there are gym, spa, etc... Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay at Grand Hyatt. ?

This my second stay at Grand Hyatt. Feels like coming home once again :)) The queue was long during check in but they compensated by bringing us up to the club lounge. We were served drinks and some nyonya kuih. Room is big with separate area for lounging and sleep area. The room smelled nice upon entering. The hotel is right smack in Orchard Room with many big malls like CK Tang and Ion nearby. In room dining was excellent. We ordered Halal food, ...yes halal food available. The portion was big for SGD $25. Damai Spa was relaxing. Food at Straits Kitchen is good as always!

Definitely a great experience and will go back again! The staff are nice and polite .and the location is good where you can shop around at orchard .and yes the picture I uploaded is not the one I bought for this voucher because we got upgraded!

Really recommend for this staycation. SRV claim in Klook really is easy to use and it’s really worth it. My family and I really enjoyed the dinner buffet as it simply delicious. The staff is efficient and very friendly.

Nice cosy room. The room was clean and they give us a complimentary Chocolate cake which was very nice for my partner birthday. Took up the package with buffet dinner at the straits restaurant. Food was good but do leave some space for the deserts which is the best fried bananas as well as the soft soft ice cream taste so smooth and creamy. Nice shirt stay after all and well experiences with the friendly services. Thumbs up for them

Choosing Grand Hyatt for our staycation was the best decision I have ever made! Not a single regret, in fact it was so good that after checking out, I immediately booked the same package for my parents so that they will be able to enjoy the beautiful experience too! Booked the Halal Foodie Staycay - Deluxe Room w Dinner & Breakfast for 2. But lovely Katherine over the counter, after learning that I had 2 kids with me in tow, gave me a FREE UPGRADE to a 2 bedroom suite! She even played the element of surprise and told me to check out the surprise myself upon going into the room! minutes after settling down in the room, room service sent up a cake for my husband’s birthday! ♥️♥️♥️ Yet another surprise! ??? Also, prior to checking in, I had emailed them to request for late check in, ie 6pm and late check out - 3 pm! With no questions asked, they acceded to my request almost immediately despite it being over email! Booking of the swimming pool was smooth too! Room cleanliness was tiptop, lovely bedding and linen, super spacious and well thought through bathroom lay out! PLUS toilet bowl has a bidet!! kids totally enjoyed bath tub time! Convenience of the halal dinner and breakfast was simply icing on the cake! We totally had the greatest time unwinding over the weekends! Despite it being only 1 night, it was so pleasant and made it enough to rejuvenate and relax! Check out was smooth too with Azizah who assisted me immediately with the refund of the $100 cash deposit. Thanks to her, I did not have to join the queue of guests who just came to check in. Worth every cent and dollar! we will be back again! ????

Very pleasant experience during staycation at Grand Hyatt. Was granted slightly early check in and the process was smooth. Requested for a baby cot and it was sent to our room in no time. Prior to check in, informed the staff that the staycation was for a birthday celebration and we were greeted with a chocolate birthday cake and a birthday card. We opted in for dinner and breakfast package and were spoilt for choice. We were served with a reasonable portion of what was ordered. Special shout out goes to Mr. Shahri Buhari, Assistant Manager of Straits Kitchen. Not only did he greet us with a warm welcome, he dropped by our table every now and then and asked if our food was alright and if there were any other food that we ordered that has not arrived. As we were seated at a blind spot table, He is very attentive and made sure that our request were attended to. As our check out day was a Saturday, we did not request for a late check out as we assumed that there will be many guest checking in for the weekend, and to ensure that the rooms were turnover in time for the next guest, we left the room by 12 noon. Overall, it a joyous celebration and an unforgettable staycation at Grand Hyatt. Two thumbs up!

Check in was much delayed due to it was 30-31 Dec. We were asked to wait at the Club Lounge while waiting for the room to be ready. The room is very specious and breakfast was delicious. For the delay in check in, we were only given an extra hour of late check out. The swimming pool is rather dated and the water is too cold for young children. Overall still a pleasant staycation experience

Got an upgrade from deluxe to a king suite and love the experience. Checkout was a smooth one as we just need to drop our cards in a box. Need to reserve for the pool between 10am-1pm. Otherwise first come first serve basis between 7am-10pm. Taking the late checkin late checkout was a better option i guys cos it was not crowded at all!

A hotel choice that is definitely worth coming back to. Was greeted with excellent service, personal touch and hospitality by Ms Mavie. Check in was swift and fast. Thou with a slight glitch upon reaching our room, service recovery by Ms Mavie were made promptly and we were given a complimentary upgrade to a super huge room with no hesistant. An instant follow up call by their manager Ms Jennifer if i am not wrong to ensure that we had settled in comfortably and to apologize once again for the glitch which was made earlier. 2 thumbs up for team and management. Was able to celebrate my precious lil one 3rd birthday with complimentary cake arranged by Ms Mavie whom had noted upon our arrival. This is what i would say going out the extra mile on top of their excellent service. My lil one cant seems to contained herself the moment we stepped into the room from running to and fro, jumping up and down and even rolling on the carpeted floor from on end to another..??? Room were clean and well maintained. Overall...10/10 upon check in to check out. An excellent hotel with excellent staffs and management.

Easy and smooth check-in with the Klook voucher, simple and easy to use.A refundable deposit of $100 is required via card or cash.Great clean room, it is big than i expected more like a 1 room suite. It is welcoming, clean, nice and cosy. Great clean big bathroom with bathtub.Great amenities around the vicinity eg. Ntuc finest(Scotts Plaza), 7E, KFC, Old Chang Kee, Puncak Noodle(Far East Plaza and many more here).

Loved the place, felt so nice in the middle of town w easy access to many places. Pool was kinda meh and rather far of a walk but checkin was very smooth and all was good:) Can't connect tv to phone tho!
