Cham Islands Day Tour

Wasn’t the type of service expected as it is very standard tourist package. The lunch is decent.

Tour is quite good in itinerary and the food. We enjoy a tour and just a little sea sick on the return way with speed boat. If you have sea sick, you should prepare the medicine before the trip.

It was a nice trip but the boat was drive like a crazy

This was a pleasant tour, just spoilt a little by the tardiness of some guests not ready for pickup. The boat ride was fun going thru the waves, the village tour interesting without any “factory tour” elements, the snorkeling just so so due to limited visibility, the lunch really nice then time to relax on the beach. Quite a pleasant tour.

Amazing. All well very smooth. Nothing negative to say about the guide and place. I was hoping to see more sea flora if I am honest. Food was fantastic, and the beach amazing.

Overall a pretty cool trip. The tour bus picked us up at our hotel. 30minute speedboat to Chams Island. Interesting to see how people live on a small island, nothing really else. Short ride to a nearby beach to snorkle (or you can wait on beach). They provide headgear, goggles, and life jackets (no skin suit). Water was a little murky and cold, but after a while of getting use to it you can see some fishes and coral. Lunch was big, pretty good food. No shower. Relax on beach after.

The village we visit has nothing special. The snorkelling equipment is too simple that those who are not good at swimming may find snorkelling difficult.

Fun activity for young and old. The guide was quite knowledgeable. The snorkel equipment was fine, lunch was nice, with a good variety of dishes. The activity greatly depends on the weather.

Very fun but the corals look quite dead probably because of tourism and people steeping on it constantly. If u like a relax day u can try this !

Although our tour got cancelled due to cold weather but they gave us a full refund :D

A wonderful experience in Cham Island. There were not much explanation by the local tour but everything just fall into a smooth itinerary. At the island, be mindful you need to take a motor ride to explore the island, too difficult to go on foot unless you have the luxury of time. The island is picturesque and breathtaking. Worth to tour Cham Island for a relaxing day.

The island itself is amazing but the tour aspect was very disappointing. Our tourguide only spoke very broken English and while taking others he could speak to is his native language on a tour, he told us to have 'free time' and meet him in 45 mins. We could have just bought the island tickets ourselves. The swimming and food was good.

Cham Island is so beautyful, natural. Lunch is just OK. Luckily, the weather in that day is nice so we can enjoy the best things here. The tour guide is funny, friendly and he made my trip more interesting

We had a wonderful time, Antonio was a brilliant tour guide, very helpful and informative! The tour was small and we went to a place with no crowds. And the lunch buffet was DELICIOUS! 10/10 :)

So funny. The sea is so beautiful and clear, but so many jelly fishes?

We had a really good time on the tour and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Snorkelling is not as good in the Caribbean but we still saw some pretty fish! The guide was feeding the fish from the boat so make sure you stick there to see the best views! Only downside was we were told to make our own way in the morning to the tourist office, only to find out a car had been sent to our hotel but the lady working in the office called us a car to take us to the boat. really good day out.

warning dont book this tour waste of money DIY the reef is dead the water is murky and the food was disgusting it's a scam to get you to buy buy buy stuff

Cham islands i'm sure is beautiful and rich in history, but i feel this tour did not do justice. There was a lot of people crammed into a tiny boat (15 passenger + 4 crew). The snorkeling was below average (very small snorkeling area that we had to share with ten other boats), barely any fish and mostly dead corals. The equipment we were given was really old, and it was only the mask with no mouth piece. Lunch was average. Tour felt like it was dragged on for too long. The cost was cheap, but it was a waste of time when we could have done something else.

Good tour guide with well spoken English. The most enjoy part of whole trip is the boat trip. There were not many fishs during snorkelling and it was quite deep (4-5m), but it’s ok for people who don’t know how to swim with a life jacket. Overall is ok ~

Snorkelling is fun and the view in chams island is very nice. The tour guide brought us around and introduced usthe history of the island.

Quite good but time for snorking was too short. Lunch was good with many choice of food.

Great weather and great view ! Suggested for a nice island tour and leisure time in beach! Snorkelling area not 100% clean yet still acceptable. Remember to bring goggles !

The scenery is very beautiful. BUT only go with this company if you expect a very basic transfer and a usual lunch. DON‘T go with this company if you expect a confortable and secure speedboat, a knowlegeable english speaking guide, a clear iternery and a nice snorkeling tour. I d rather pay more next time to get what I expected. I would not at all recomment this operator. Worst tour I had in Vietnam!

Average The tour started at 8.30am as the van picked us up on time. This is commendable as majority of the tour pick ups are late according to our past experience. The jetty was crowded due to public holiday but we managed to board the boat smoothly. However, the passengers on the boat exceed the number of the seats on the boat hence it was packed and uncomfortable. Safety measures could be further improved as the journey took about 20 minutes. The first stop is Fishing Village where we were given our own leisure time to do some sight seeing. Check out the well located in the middle of the village where it has sustained the water needs of the entire village since the olden days. It’s a nice place to take some pictures as the jetty is busy with many speed boats. We then proceed to the next location for snorkeling. There was some miscommunication between the tour guide and the tour agency as we were not given proper snorkeling kit (only goggles were provided - without mouth piece). After much negotiation, we managed to resolve the issue and obtained the snorkeling kit from the tour guide. The experience was average as we were near to the shore (5m deep only). The boat ride back to the origin point was even more crowded and the space was so limited that some guests need to stand on the boat. It was cramped and extremely uncomfortable. The last blow to the trip was the ride back to our hotel. We had to share the van ride with 7 people hence the back seat was cramped and impossible to sit. Our legs have to curled up for a very uncomfortable 30 minutes. The tour guide, Sophia is friendly and accommodating. She can speak Vietnamese, English and Mandarin which makes it easier to understand for foreign tourists. Overall experience was deemed average.

Not much fishes to see during the snorkeling session. Just a simply day out to chill in the beach.

The group we went with had Chinese, Vietnamese, Swedish, so the language medium was not always English. We had to wait a long time for the others at every point, but they could have hurried the people so that they were on time at the meeting place. Speed boat is very bumpy

The trip was a little disappointing. There was a lot of options for "free time". The snorkeling was by far the best part of the day, but it was a very short swim. I am happy we saw the Cham Islands. This tour has room for improvement.

The hotel transfer arrived within the designated time and the communication via What’s App was good. So make sure you have this app downloaded. The tour operater speaks Mandarin and has a basic command of English, enough to understand directions and ask simple questions. The river speed boat is not for the faint hearted and is dangerous in high sea so check the weather report before travelling. It’s approximately 30mins (20km) journey. We took Travelcalm sea sick tablets before bed and one hour before boarding and were fine. My 12 year old was crying and frightened so may not be suitable for some children or adults who are scared of theme park rides! The boat is bumpy and flying over waves at high speed. I had confidence in the boat driver as I am sure they are highly experienced in navigating the sea but it is worth asking the question before boarding the vessel. All speed boats operators were full to capacity. I did not see any boats overloaded but the boats were at capacity, every seat taken. DO NOT board vessel if it is overloaded. Everyone must have a seat. I recommend sitting towards the front of the boat as you can see the waves and horizon as you go over them. You will get splashed and wet during the journey as the vessel is not enclosed with windows. There was no safety talk and some life jackets needed repair and replacement. They had enough life jackets for everyone and a few spares. On this tour you can choose to spend 40 minutes in the shopping village or be taken to the beach for 40-60 mins. We went to the beach. The kids enjoyed the jumping castles set up on the water for 100.000 dong for two children, unlimited time. Pool floats also for hire. There were two netted areas to swim safely. Sadly the water is not pristine and we swam amongst plastic rubbish. I saw noodle packets, plastic lids, plastic bags and sauce packets etc. An environmental job is needed to clean this up. The tour members from the village are then taken to the beach where they get changed into their swimming gear. There are outdoor showers, toilets and change rooms for both men and women. They were fairly clean and in reasonable condition. Bring your own toilet paper and footwear. You then return to the boat for a 5 minute ride to the snorkelling area where you spend about one hour snorkelling. It was the best part of the trip. You climb down boat ladder into sea. There is no beach at snorkelling location. We saw many blue starfish and lots of tropical fish and coral reefs. Visibility was very good. Snorkelling equipment was in good condition but if you are fussy about hygiene by a brand new set from village store. There are 3 main reefs in different areas of the island to snorkel so I am assuming each operator is designated a reef. Not sure which area is best or if all the same. After snorkelling you return to the beach for a seafood lunch. Each operator has their own kitchen so lunch may vary between operators. We were a group of four people and it was a set menu of approximately six plates plus rice and drinks are an additional cost. We enjoyed our lunch but a few dishes were not to our tastes. If you can’t use chop sticks, spoons are offered. After lunch you have about 30-45 minutes to enjoy the beach. Some good photo opportunities in the little beach hut. The boat ride back was an easier trip because we knew what to expect. There was no commentary on this trip. Although we did feel the trip was quite rushed. If you want more time I would suggest booking an operator that has an 8am or earlier hotel pick up. Our hotel pick up was 9am. The boats all leave to come back at 2:30pm due to weather at sea. Overall we had a very enjoyable day and it was nice getting out of the hustle and bustle of Hoi An for a day. The tour guide was friendly, welcoming and easy to spot in a crowd. This tour is good value for money.

I think this place just fine to visit. If you really stay in Da Nang and have more time you can come. It's a relaxing island for you to visit. I had enjoyed the half day visit here.

Nothing much to see. Poor arrangement on timing. But the tour guide Sophia is very helpful and friendly.

The best tour we had in Hoi an, the hotel pick up was on time at 8 AM and the entire trip was executed according to the itinerary and the lunch was superb.

Do not book this tour! It’s a waste of time and money. My booking said English speaking tour guide, she did not speak English so I had no idea what was going on the whole day. The snorkelling was unimpressive, hardly any fish. The masks and snorkels were clearly not cleaned between use. My booking also said hotel pick up and drop off but there was no drop off. Horribly disappointed with this tour.

The coach was punctual. The lunch looks good but tastes soso. But I honestly think this UNESCO titled island is too overrated. Beach bums may enjoy the white sand. But the beaches are largely commercialised - pay extra if you want to get near the inflatable castles. The water where we did snorkeling was murky and the corals were obviously bullied by overtourism. The museum and heritage tour are tumbledown and have nothing really evocative.

It was a wonderful experience for my friend and me.

Although the schedule is being a bit late, but I met very friendly tour members from Australia, and the activities were wonderful. It was a memorable trip for me.

Very goo, the sun is good and the beach is beautiful. We can swim in the beach and enjoy the sunshine in the beach.it is wonderful experience.

i contact local coustomer serivce for making sure i got the contact numbers for tour guide 2 day before my trip, and they told me i have to call again the evening before the tour. I then fly to vietman, and ask my friends in Hong Kong to help call local customer services for the contact number, however they say they do not have the information. And on the day for tour, it should be pick up at 07:30 am, however the bus come finally after an hour which is 08:00am, and I could not contact anyone to help while waiting because I dont have the contact numbers that i refer to.

The pick up time was long (used more than one hour) as they have to pick up around 20 -30 ppl (more than 10 groups)in different hotels and many people late (and they just notice us the pick up time in the evening of previous day). The time for Snorkeling was very very short (within 20 mins for whole trip), the boat is very small but more than 30 peoples on the boat. The guide pushed us to back to the beach before 11am to have lunch there (i think the restaurant pushed them to do that mainly as many tours (mainly PRC tours) were coming back to have lunch there at noon) and not allow us the bath first before lunch and after snorkeling. Moreover, the guide never give us the exactly time to leave the beach/ finish snorkeling, and finally we spent more than 2.5 hrs just enjoy sunbathing on the beach (but actually there are a lot of ppl on the beach, not easy to relax there).

The trip have been informed by Klook that cancelled due to bad weather . Waiting for the refund. Thanks
