Novotel Citygate Hong Kong Hotel Staycation Package

The room and the service are both good and up to par. The room has a great view, a just-right mattress, clean and cozy overall. I suggest to put a bin in the room so I dont have to go to the bin in the toilet all the time. Both parking and front office staff are great. However the buffet is a disappointment and it feels like a college cafeteria in terms of food choice and quality. Will consider to come back though as the price is still very attractive.

Great value for money. Personal and very attentive services. Got a reasonable variety of choices at breakfast buffet and in room services are fast and and efficient. Minor problem is that the hotel does not have a business center where I may get urgent printouts from my mobile phone.

Awesome experience and adventure. Hotel helped to extend the check out date to 2pm and then they also fulfill all the requirements such as bath and double bed. They also helped to reserve the table for both dinner and breakfast.

Happy day! The room of Novotel is clean and the environments are very great. There are quite near by Big Buddha, it takes 40 mins by bus number 23, also near by the shopping centre Citygate, there are plenty of brand for you to choose, you will be enjoy if you like shopping!

The breakfast was good. The hosts were so thoughtful and caring and went above and beyond. The hotel is well furnished and good for families with kids. However the dinner buffet we had was a bit disappointed. No oyster nor crab legs, no cold drinks.

We have enjoyed the stay at Novotel. The buffet lunch is good enough. There was not a great variety of food, but the taste was better than our last visit. Then we had a chance to walk around the rural areas, which was enjoyable. The early evening in-room treat was more than we had expected. The seafood was fresh but we had already tried it at the lunch buffet. I would rather had a simple meal which was different from food provided at the lunch buffet. The breakfast was a good one and it worth a visit. The view from the room is excellent. Please see my photo.

It was a great experience to stay in Citygate Novotel hotel. Hotel staffs are nice with polite attitude, cheerful and helpful customer services, the hotel atmosphere is so comfortable and peaceful which give us an enjoyable 2 days trip. The room is good with a big double bed and we can see the sunset view in our room which is really good, but we expected there is a bath in bathroom. Both dinner and breakfast buffets are also good too, although there are not so many food choices at night buffet, but it was OK for us. Especially my husband really appreciated that the trip package can offer a free parking in hotel, this is one of the attraction for us. We will go and stay in this hotel next time again.

Great service, allowed early check in before 12 and late check out by 2pm. Breakfast was okay for the price, lunch selection a bit too simple, main course small portions, but overall a good stay. Pool is closed till April.

The room was nice with sea view, clean and tidy! The breakfast and lunch buffets were fair compared with the price, but the in-room sushi was a disaster... the rice was too soft and sticky...

It is valuable for money, staff is polite and would call to reserve the parking right after the confirmation. We have requested a connecting room and was provided. The food at afternoon and morning buffet were good. The open toilet design could be a bit odd for staying with friends. You could get everything at the mall connected to it and go for a short hike or sight visit nearby. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

Value for money. We all know the hotel is not 5 star hotel. But the package inlcudes lunch and breakfast buffet, the price is unbeatable. Also, hotel staff are helpful and polite. Just one suggestion, the sushi rice is not well cooked and the textile is bit of hard.

Decent, comfort and clear hotel! Due to the COVID situation, our dinner buffet change to lunch buffet on the arrival date. In general, both lunch buffet and breakfast buffet were decent and acceptable. Out KLOOK Package included free parking which was multi- entering before check out which was very convenient for us. Our room to upgraded and we were staying on 20/F with very nice viewing.

Relaxing birthday staycation with my family booking connection rooms. Choice of buffet meals and Ngong Ping cable car rides. Right at the Citygate outlet mall for value for money shopping.

This stay celebrates the anniversary. The hotel delivered chocolate desserts. The room was comfortable without a bathtub but it was OK. Since there is no dine-in after 6:00 pm, seafood is delivered to the room. The meal is enough for 2 people. Lunch and breakfast are available in the hotel restaurant. All in all, this stay was very good and comfortable.

Nice staff from front office and good view with bath tub inside our room. Convenient for shopping and visit Tung Chung.

Although hotel shows signs of aging, hotel cleanliness and staff service makes up for the experience Proximity to Lantau attractions is a plus

Fabulous Room. I got upgraded room free of cost -complimentary, my stay was very good, fully sanitation facilities, i extremely recommended this hotel for business and family trips ; )

Good value for money. Room is clean although the shower made funny noises and once even brownish water came out for a while. Nice view of cable car and planes taking off from room. Appreciate the chef’s hard work at buffet restaurant - only 2 of them handling all food during lunch and even 1 person handling all cooking at breakfast hours. Hope the hotel can treat their staff better as I can tell everyone at the restaurant was extremely busy.

Good view and service. Right next to the outlet mall makes it very convenient.

Room is big but a bit old (yet still aceptable), can choose choice of with bath tub but u need to request during check-in. Very nice airport view made u feel like u r somewhere aboard. Buffet is not ok, obviously downgraded a lot compared with previous visit (before staycation available). Staff is friendly, and good to go shopping in the nearby outlets, a great verity of shops out there.

It’s our first time spending weekend with our baby, the hotel is awesome and the buffet is nice . We are happy and love it.

Nice stay and value for money! We received a warm welcome with chocolate and cake for our anniversary and birthday celebration. Also, the sea views from our room is awesome as we can see a bit of the Ngong Ping 360 and the building of Citygate along with an excellent seaview. The swimming pool and fitness room are also well equipped with nice environment. I will highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

a fabulous stay in Novotel Citygate. The lunch in Olea is good especially the main dishes. Room is not so big but decent enough. Service is good. Shopping mall is just right downstairs; parks and bike trails are just nearby, perfect for a family stay.

The entire experience was alright, could be better! Highlights :) 1. Staff are helpful and nice, arranged a seaview room and late checkout at 4pm. 2. The hotel room is clean and decent. Has bath robe and adequate amenities. The window is really big and great view for sunset! 3. Convenient location! It’s just next to the Citygate Outlet (very good for shopping) And a 40 mins boat ride to Tai O fishing village! 4. Surprise anniversary treat of strawberry dipped in chocolates and a memo! Really made it special. Improvements :( 1. Food options at buffet is very limited. Most dishes are Chinese Cuisine! Do not even have sushi or pasta. No beverages either. 2. Unhelpful instructions for lactose intolerant people. Most dishes do not mention the ingredients (e.g. milk/cheese), so I had to ask around during the buffet. 3. Limited options in room TV. Need to pay for some channels.

Wonderful experience at the Novotel. Dinner was satisfying they even had Chinese egg waffles!

The room was average size. Although a little old, it was reasonably clean. The only thing that I would recommend is for everyone to bring their own USB plug as they don’t have any USB sockets. The dinner buffet was a bit disappointing as there weren’t any crab or lobster and the vegetables selection was also limited. They did have plenty of whelks - cooked in 3 different ways. Breakfast the next day was on the other hand more appetising.

Spent a staycation away from city the CityGate Novotel is one of the best choice with ease of transportation and lots of visiting spots to suit different expectations. Room is clean, foods are good and people’s there are nice and helpful.

I like the tranquility of the hotel and the staff are all very nice. The playground next door was the favorite place of my girl. The overall ambience of Tung Chung is very exotic , will definitely visit another time. I stayed 3 nights 2 days here in total and visited Ngong Ping and Tai O. The cable car station is very near and the boat to Tai O is just opposite to the road. Also the outlets and food court in Citygate is a nice place to go too.

I am satisfied with the room provided as has a good, beautiful and excellent views of Ngo Ping 360, citygate outlets, airport and playgrounds.

The staycation experience here is great with delicious buffet and facilities. The changing room provides the water extraction machine for swimming suit. The hotel also provide us the surprise birthday cake.

This is a good place to enjoy a weekend and the service is excellence. The room is relaxing and the view from room is marvelous. Besides, the swimming pool is beautiful and the breakfast is perfect!

Nice room, nice staff! The breakfast and tea buffets are good! Though the cable car was closed but hotel can made necessary adjustment on the package! Over all, a great stay!
