This staycation is certainly worth the value. The lunch buffet and the breakfast buffet were wonderful and staff members were professional and well-trained. To celebrate our wedding anniversary, the hotel has offered us a bottle of wine and a bunch of flowers. The arrangement was terrific.

Room is spacious and clean though a bit dated, however there is a humid smell inside the room. Food is very nice and it was a nice exp to have breakfast at the lounge on the toppest floor

Excellent services, all staff was friendly and helpful. The room is a bit old fashion but well maintained.The in room buffet dinner was good but rice, noodle, pizza and French fries together are too much for our stomach! Breakfast was really good with a nice Harbour view.

Chose Island Shangri-la Hotel to celebrate my mom’s 70th years old birthday and every dollar spent is so worth it! We only requested room upgrade for our special occasion, out of our surprise we got upgraded to executive suit with mountain view. The surprise didn’t stop from there, the staff at concierge immediately and efficiently arranged a simple but decent room decoration, a fresh flower bouquet as well as a birthday cake at Island Gourmet! Special thanks to Ms. Cindy and Ms Rachel whom we met at the concierge, they always welcomed us with the brightest smile and greeted my children in a super friendly way. We could’ve asked for more than what the hotel offered us, our experience in IS is simply one if a kind. If you’re looking for a hotel to celebrate your special moments, look no further than island shangri-la hotel as it will certainly provide the best for all their guests.

Excellent customer service. Kid amenities are well arranged in room when we arrived. Spacious room with nice sea view and very clean. All the staff is very polite and helpful - the check-in staff, service center, cafe Too. Been in quite a few 5-star hotels in HK and the experience at island shangrila is the best so far.

Amazing experience! Everything is what U would expect from a 5 stars and top notch service! Kudos to all the lounge staff, making our stay exceptionally enjoyable and feeling very pampered! A special call out to Varenna, thanks for spending the time to chat with us and making us feel so welcomed! We stayed at the newly renovated room and altho for not harbour view room, but the room is decent sized and amazingly comfortable with modern equipments. Food quality and staff quality are impressive! I can’t wait to be back again! Thanks again for the memorable stay, I miss this place already! Will definitely be back!

The best value I had for staycations for the past year. A true and traditional 5-star hotel experience from the carpets, lobby décor to quality of food and staff services.

It was an amazing experience. The customer services are great, room is spacious, and am content with the blend and balance between classic decor and usability of facilities. The afternoon tea is awesome, with delicious food and live band.

Excellent staff and service. Joyful and relaxing experience, especially the afternoon tea at Lobby Lounge where live band music was provided for most of the time. All in all, much value for money and an enjoyable staycation experience.

Great service and friendly staff, making our staycation here in HK an absolute pleasure. Amazing gym facilities as well, unfortunately the pool was still closed.

Stayed at the Island Shangri La over the CNY weekend with my family. The room was nice and spacious. We enjoyed the Klook package with afternoon tea buffed and breakfast buffet held at cafe Too. Wide variety of dishes to choose from and the food was delicious. We had meals for our 18 month old toddler delivered in-room and the service was very efficient. I fell sick over night due to a urine infection and they was able to send over two glasses of cranberry juice within minutes of me calling which I am very thankful for. Will definitely visit again

Good deal! Enjoyed the good food at Cafe Too and services at Island Shangri-la ?

The stay is great, the service is good. It is just funny to have different light bulb colors in the room, warm light and dim light don't mixed well in a room. Maybe the maintenance manager should take a time to look into details. As the small details do make a big different to how the room makes one feels cozy or annoying.

The klook 32-hour package is really very good deal. ISL upgraded me from horizon club mountain view to horizon club seaview. The room is newly renovated, with all modern facilities which is very impressive. And the sofa bed is perfect my kid. The lunch buffet was good, with lots of food choices. The package also includes unlimited access to 56-floor lounge with afternoon tea and happy hour. The view is fabulous. I can also choose to have the breakfast at different venues in the hotel. Services are good too. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience on Valentines Day. I topped up some money to upgrade to harbour view suite. Very wonderful view and the room was really luxurious. The dining experience for special Valentine Days’s menu at Restaurant Petrus was delicious and delightful. Food in Cafe TOO was variety and great, especially the Chinese soup. The Horizon Club lounge tea was exceed my expectation. It has free flow VCP and lots of cocktails and wines. It is an excellent hotel in overall.

We had staycation at many top class hotels in HK. Shangari La is among the top 3 on our list. Service speaks it for the hotel brand. Best breakfast. In-room buffet is an interesting experience but it'd be great to give us the choice to select what we want (too much food) for us. We could feel that the team is trying their best to maintain the room condition given how old they are. We do like the touch from Shangari La. They allow early check-in and check-out for 36hrs is a big plus!

I have to say, our stay was terrific. The rooms were really large and the food was awesome. One thing of concern was the food waste...because there was no buffet, they brought a buffet to our room. It was a terrific amount of food but no way could we finish even half of it. Since we had 4 rooms, there was a LOT of food waste in the name of comfort. Otherwise, a fantastic stay despite the dinner buffet being closed and the no pool access.

Got upgraded to Horizon Harbour View Room located at 52/F. View is stunning. Nadaman is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong. Reasonable priced.

Staff is super nice and helpful. It’s a good deal, which includes breakfasts and in room dinner. Room is comfortable and new.

High floor sea view room with the whole Kowloon Peninsula scenic was amazing. The room was cozy. The room service from "Summer Place" was delicious. The service of the hotel was absolutely great! Overall comment : Highly recommended.

An ever best price for Staycation in one of the top quality hotels. Room is spacious. Hotel service was good. The only negative comment was the harbour view was not as expected as the hotel room was not high enough and only a limited view of harbour was seen. This can be explained (I guess) as it was a free upgrade to Harbour view room.

The staffs are amazing, their positive energy and problem solving skills are spectacular. Didn’t expect to get a full size cake from the hotel which is a surprise. And the food especially the pastry is lovely. In room dining was out of imagination for the selection of foods. Loving the classic of the Horizon Club Room. I am so glad we got the highest floor with the amazing view which makes it more enjoyable. I will come back for sure!

Seems not really can stay 32 hours, as I request 10am check in, but 12 sth then can check in. Overall, the room not really face the sea view. But on the other hand, one point is good as I told them my son bday, they ready some balloons and ready the bday cake for my son. Thanks

Everything was good but I was asked to wait for 3 hours before I can check-in and there's no compensation for the delay.

A good choice under the epidemic

You can’t go out for dinner during the epidemic. This afternoon tea is a good choice. The presentation is exquisite and the taste is not wrong... The only drawback is that you have to pick it up... If it can be packaged and shipped, it would be best. I hope I won’t drive again in the future Celebrate Valentine's Day at home

Wonderful experience. The early check in and late check out was a special treat. The horizon club was also a big benefit for us! Thanks to the whole team there.

This package includes 32hours stay with semi buffet breakfast on the 56th floor restaurant and in room buffet dinner. Absolutely fantastic value with high standard food. We were given upgrade to harbour view room on the 54th floor. Although the furnishings are a bit aged, the room is sparkling clean, spacious and comfortable. Great for in room dining. The only drawback is that there is no dining chair to fit the mobile dining table. Too much food from the buffet dinner on wheels. Buffet menu was provided at check-in. Would have been great to have an option to trim down the amount and vary the content. Nevertheless, we were able to dine in complete privacy in a room with magnificent night view. The photo shows the cold food only. The rest of the warm food were kept inside the compartment underneath the table. The room was made up 2 times during our stay. We were surprised to return to a completely made up room with all amenities topped up after our breakfast though we will check out at 6pm. The large screen TV with many cable channels has great reception quality. The movie channels are that of Fox and one Chinese movie channel. There is an extra small TV screen with lesser choice of channels at the end of the bath tub. Absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Island Shangri-la.

Delicious afternoon tea?

The presentation is good and the taste is good, and the packaging for takeout is convenient. Although I am not a lunch lover, I enjoy it with my family. The kids find it good to watch and eat.

古色古香的房間！The high tea and buffet breakfast at cafe too was fine. We were offered to have our breakfast in business center which turned out to be unexpectedly well served as we were the only table sitting there! The drinks option are very limited no matter for high tea / breakfast. In room dining food was terribly not up to 5 star standard. Love the Chinese antique design in room but the toilet / shower are not separated. Waited for 5-10min to get into a lift before 6pm check out. Enjoyed our 初一night here with shangri la and all staff are friendly and pretty! The old gentleman who serve our in room dining was very hard working (glad that hotel retains and provide job opportunities to aged people).

The deal was so worth it given the great view and the reputation of the hotel! The portion of the buffet dinner is definitely way more than 2-people portion and the breakfast buffet on the 56th floor with the nice view is such a luxurious experience!
